This wireless unit will give you added security and comfort for many years. The DOS-150 is easy to install in almost any place where you need audio/video surveillance. To safely use all the high technical functions of the wireless unit, please read the installation and operating instructions in this manual and keep it for future reference.

The usage of the wireless audio/video system is free of license. It cannot be guaranteed that the transmission is without interference caused by other wireless systems or atmospheric disturbance.

Read the following precautions prior to install or use the system:

* Do not let any light shine directly into the camera's lens.
* Both the camera and the monitor are for indoor use only. Never use the camera and/or the monitor in wet, extreme warm or extreme cold or dusty surroundings. The monitor and the camera are not suitable for usage in areas in which aggressive or explosive damp can or will occur.
* Always use the supplied power adapter for monitor and camera.

Note: Use only the adapter “FOR TRANSMITTER ONLY” for the camera, and use only the adapter “FOR RECEIVER ONLY” for the monitor. Never exchange the adapters else the DOS-150 will

be damaged.

* Prior to install the system, test its functionality.
* Only remove the protective layer from the camera-lens after the camera has been mounted.
* During use, the power adapter, monitor and camera will get warm. Never

cover the cooling openings of the adapter, monitor and camera.

FUNCTIONS

Monitor (fig.1):

POWER:	power switch of the monitor.
CHANNEL:	selection switch between the 4 channels
SCREEN:	on/off switch to switch the screen “ON” or “OFF”. The sound is always available
VOLUME:	volume control for the built-in speaker.
AUDIO OUT:	audio output terminal for recording on a VCR.
VIDEO OUT:	video output terminal for recording on a VCR.
DC-Jack:	power input connector 15V DC/800mA
V-HOLD:	vertical hold adjustment
BRIGHT:	brightness adjustment
CONTRAST:	contrast adjustment
ANTENNA:	antenna revolving

Camera (fig.2):

CCD-Camera lens:	delivers sharp image to the CCD sensor.
Infrared LED's:	illuminates close objects in a dark surrounding
Mic.:	built-in microphone
POWER:	power switch of the camera
INFRA-RED:	on/off switch for the infrared LED's
CHANNEL:	selector switch between the 4 channels
DC-jack:	power input connector 12V DC/400mA
ANTENNA:	antenna revolving

INSTALLATION

Camera:

1. At which, attach the camera on the bracket and tighten the camera with the screw. Attach the bracket onto the designated location and make sure it has a firm hold.
2. Connect the supplied power adapter (12 V DC/400mA) to the camera and plug the adapter in a 230 Volt mains outlet.

In case the camera will be used mobile, you may install 8 pcs RECHARGEABLE batteries, format AA (penlite), type NiCad or NiMH. These batteries will be charged as soon as you connect the power adapter. Batteries are excluded.

ATTENTION: Never connect the power adapter when normal batteries are installed in the camera. Remove the batteries or install rechargeable bat-teries

Monitor:

1. Find a correct place for the monitor.
2. Connect the supplied power adapter (15 V DC/800mA) to the monitor and plug the adapter in a 230 Volt mains outlet.

You may also install 10 pcs C-size batteries (excl.). These batteries will not be charged through the power adapter. At wish you may use normal or rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries must be recharged in a separate charger

1. You can connect the audio/video output to a VCR to record the sound and the image.

USAGE

Camera:

1. Use the "POWER" switch to turn "ON" the camera. With the channel switch you can select the cannel you want to use.
2. When using the camera in a dark room, switch to "INFRA-RED ON" to illuminate nearby objects.
3. Turn the camera on the observed subject.

Monitor:

1. Use the "POWER" switch to turn "ON" the monitor and select the same channel as you selected on the camera
2. Set the "SCREEN" switch to "ON".
3. You can control the audio level using the "VOLUME" controller.
4. On the backside of the monitor you can adjust the V-hold, brightness and contrast.

Align the antenna of the camera and of the monitor to gain the best transmission quality.

In case the selected channel is disturbed or is in use by another transmitter, use the “CHANNEL” switch to select another channel. The camera and the monitor must both be set to the same channel.

Scan:

In case more camera's are to be observed, you can select the AUTO mode with button "CHANNEL". With 4 seconds interval, all 4 channels are scanned and its picture will come on the screen.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Only clean the monitor and the camera with a soft and moistures cloth. Never use chemical cleansers.
• Never locate the monitor close to a magnet (loudspeakers), the image will warp. Avoid placing in a strong electromagnetic field or close to radio transmitters, the audio and video quality might be disturbed.
• Do not locate the camera and/or monitor close to sensitive electronic equipment.
• Do not place the camera and/or monitor in direct sunlight.
• Both the camera and the monitor are for indoor use only. Do not use the set in a moisture surrounding.
• The use of the set under extreme conditions (temperature, moisture, etc), might reduce the lifetime of the video observation system.
• Never just throw away empty batteries but hand them over to your local depot for chemical waste.

HOW TO ACT:

If you notice a defect, consult the manual first. If this manual gives you no definite answer, consult your dealer with a clear description of your complaint. He will collect the device together with this guarantee card and the dated purchase ticket and he will take care of a prompt repair, respectively free sending to the importer.

THE GUARANTEE EXPIRES:

When used inexpert, faulty connections, use of unoriginal parts or accessories, negligence and defects caused by fire, flood, stroke of lightning and natural disasters. With unqualified modifications or repairs by third persons. With incorrect transport without a suitable packing. If the device is not handed in with the correct filled in guarantee card and the purchase ticket.
