Introduction

Misting fans are a viable alternative to air conditioner. These misting fan systems utilize the process known as evaporative cooling.

These misting fans are similar to humidifier; it increases the amount of moisture in the air in a particular room, the fan blows a very fine mist of water into the air, this moisture evaporates and absorbs the heat from the air effectively to cool the area. The hotter the area, the quicker the evaporation occurs.
