Frequently Asked Questions - KH 1903 SILVERCREST

How to use the KH 1903 milk frother?
Fill a tall container one third full with the liquid to be frothed (milk max. 60°C). Hold the frother just above the bottom, press the On/Off button, and make slow circular motions. To stop, press the button again. Remove the frother and place it in the base.
Which batteries to use for the KH 1903?
Use 2 AA/LR6/R06 batteries (1.5 V each). Insert them respecting the polarity indicated in the compartment.
How to clean the milk frother?
Clean the whisk in soapy water and rinse with clear water. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth. Never immerse the handle in water. The base and drip tray can be cleaned with soapy water after disassembly.
Can the frother be used for something other than milk?
Yes, the device is designed to froth milk, sauces, milkshakes and other liquid foods. Do not use it for solid foods.
Why is my milk not frothing?
Make sure the milk is cold or lukewarm (max. 60°C). Milk that is too hot will not froth. Also check that the batteries are sufficiently charged.
The frother stops on its own. What to do?
Check the battery status. If they are weak, replace them. The device does not have an automatic shut-off, so an unexpected stop often indicates worn-out batteries.
Can I use the frother directly in my cup?
Yes, use a tall container like a cup or glass. Fill to a maximum of one third to avoid splashes.
How to store the milk frother?
If you use it frequently, keep it in its base. For long-term storage, remove the batteries and store it in a clean, dry place.
What to do in case of battery leakage?
Wear protective gloves, remove the batteries, clean the compartment and contacts with a dry cloth. Dispose of used batteries according to regulations.
Where can I find the after-sales service contact details?
The contact details are in the instruction manual. You can contact Kompernass service by phone or email depending on your country (e.g., UK: 0870/787-6177, support.uk@kompernass.com).
