Attention: to avoid the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. The interior does not contain any parts that may be repaired by the user. Ask for assistance to qualified personnel.

1.1. Power Supply

Make sure the mains voltage is compatible with the appliance voltage. If this is not the case consult the vendor or Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not roll up or pull the cord to disconnect the appliance, and do not use it to twine the appliance. Keep the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket, or if it is not working properly.

If the power cord is damaged, do not use your appliance. Take it to technical assistance for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. TO AVOID FIRE HAZARD OR ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR APPLIANCE TO HUMIDITY OR WATER. Do not place your appliance under water (for example to wash it).

Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance.

- Read all instructions before using the product.

- Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers.

- Any damage caused by manual modifications to the product is not covered by the warranty.

- If this product is used for other purposes than originally designed, or if it is not correctly connected, the product may suffer damage and the warranty will be voided.

- Always make sure the voltage to be used corresponds to the voltage indicated on the appliance.

- Always switch the appliance off before putting it down, even if it is only for a moment.

- Do not unplug by pulling on the cord. Always grasp the plug and unplug it from the outlet.

- Do not use the dryer near gas or other inflammable substances (such as benzene, paint thinner, sprays, etc.)

- As the handle of hairdryer has built-in electrical components, the hairdryer must be fixed so that the handle, when fully extended, is out of the reach of a person using a bath or shower.

- The hairdryer is not recommended for use in the bathroom. Unplug the appliance after use since the proximity of water presents a risk, even when the hairdryer is switched off. As an additional safety measure, we recommended the installation of a 30 mA ground fault circuit breaker device on the electric circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

dryer near water in bath-tubs, basins or other vessels. Do not leave or store the dryer near a tub, sink or other place where it will be exposed to water and other liquids or high humidity.

• Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive products.
• The dryer is fitted with a heat-sensitive safety device. In the event of overheating (for example if the rear grate is covered), the dryer will stop automatically. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes. Before switching the appliance on again, check the grates to make sure they are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc.
• Do not direct the airflow towards the eyes other sensitive areas.
• Close supervision is necessary when the dryer is used by or near children and the disabled.
• If the cord is damaged, stop using the dryer immediately and return the dryer to customer service for replacement.
• Please remove hair from the intake grate immediately to keep the appliance in working order.

2.2. Operating Instructions

Before use

This hair dryer can be operated directly from an AC220-240V \~ 50Hz power source. It has a new turbo function so you can dry your hair quickly. Use the soft function to dry short hair or style hair. To prevent over-drying when styling hair, the unique soft setting reduces heat output to 57°C.

The internal ionizer emits negatively charged ions that surround your hair. Negative ions reduce the build-up of static electricity and help to keep your hair in good condition, making it shiny, smooth and frizz-free.

The handle on this dryer can be folded for storage.

How to use

1. Make sure the power switch is in the 0 position. Plug the unit in and turn on the power switch.

2. To dry your hair after washing, set the power switch to "2" or "1" without attaching the nozzle, if you want to use cool air, please press the cool switch to "※".

3. Hair styling. Set the power switch to "1" and attach the nozzle. If you want to use cool air, please press the cool switch or set the heat switch to "✗".

4. Turn the power switch to 0 and unplug the unit.

2.3. Maintenance

Cleaning

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
- Remove the air intake grate from the appliance. Clean the air inlet grate, nozzle and hot and cold nozzle with a damp cloth or rinse them under the tap.
• After drying, refit the air inlet grate.

4. CUSTOMER SERVICE

Becken has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs you may be able to determine its cause by following the procedures suggested in this section.

Do not attempt to open the appliance – there is a risk of electrical shock.

If you are not able to solve the problem please contact your seller or manufacturer.

All users must be familiar with this section. Knowing what could go wrong can help to prevent problems occurring.

WARNING: any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer will void the warranty.

If the problem persists take your appliance to the customer service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to solve the problem.

Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2 year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance. The warranty is applicable for correct use and maintenance of the appliance, namely according to the instructions in this manual. Malfunctions caused by any other situations are not covered by the warranty.

The repair of electric appliances must only be made by qualified technicians in order to prevent future problems.

To avoid unnecessary risks, any malfunctions concerning wires or other components must be repaired in a specialized technical support workshop because suitable tools are required.

5. PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT

In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic.

The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials once disassembled by a specialized company. Comply with local regulations concerning recycling of all materials.
