INSTALLATION NOTES

The use of a thread locker is recommended on all screws to prevent loosening due to vibration.

Dash Disassembly:

  1. Remove the 2 screws located at the top of the dash. See Figure A
  2. Remove the panel snap located on the passenger side of the factory dash panel
  3. Remove the panel snap located on the driver side of the dash panel
  4. Lift up and away to gain access to the connectors on the back half of the dash.
  5. Disconnect all connectors and lift dash panel away.

Prepping the Dash panel for CM-DM3 installation:

  1. With the dash out of the vehicle, place the SSV Works CM-DM3 in the factory dash opening as shown in Figure B.
  2. Using a scribe, mark the (4) holes located along the perimeter of the CM-DM3.
  3. Drill the 4 holes out with a 1/8" drill bit. See Figure C
  4. Drill a 12 " hole along the bottom right corner of the dash pocket. This will be used to pass any cabling through the dash panel. See Figure D

Installing the MRB3 Remote and WP-3PUSB35A into the dash panel:

  1. Place the MRB3 remote into the CM-DM3.
  2. Use the following hardware to fasten the remote to the CM-DM3: (2) M3 Philips Screws, (2) M3 Washers and (2) M3 lock. See Figure E
  3. Remove the factory 12v plug from the dash by un-threading the plastic nut from behind the factory dash panel.
  4. In order to pass through the cabling of the WP-3PUSB35A you will need to remove the fuse from the fuse holder and leave the cap open.
  5. Remove the plastic nut from the WP-3PUSB35A.
  6. With the fuse holder open, pass the WP-3PUSB35A through the factory dash panel. See Figure F
  7. Re-thread the plastic nut to fasten the WP-3PUSB35A.

Installing the CM-DM3:

  1. With the MRB3 remote attached to the CM-DM3 place into position while routing the MRB3 cable through 12 " hole previously drilled in the factory dash panel. See Figure G
  2. Fasten the CM-DM3 using the following hardware: (4) #6 Philips screws.
  3. At this point in the process you will want to install and wire the rest of the MRB3 black box. Please refer to the MRB3 manual for installation. See Figure H
  4. We recommend utilizing the Black and Orange wires disconnected from the factory 12v plug to connect the WP-3PUSB35A Red and Black wire.
  5. Make sure all cables are zip-tied and secured away from high heat and moving objects.
  6. Connect and re-install the factory dash panel.
