How does the Oregon Scientific Muse WA338 aroma diffuser work?

The diffuser uses ultrasonic technology to vaporize water mixed with essential oils. It creates a fine mist that disperses into the air, humidifying and scenting the room.

What is the water tank capacity?

The tank has a capacity of about 100 ml, providing a runtime of approximately 8 hours in continuous operation.

How to clean the diffuser?

Unplug the device and empty the tank. Clean it with a soft cloth and a little diluted white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly before reuse. Avoid abrasive products.

Can I use any essential oil?

Yes, you can use pure essential oils or blends. Do not exceed 5 to 10 drops per filling to avoid damaging the device.

How to turn the diffuser on and off?

Plug in the AC adapter, then press the power button. To turn off, press and hold the button for 2 seconds.

What to do if the diffuser does not produce mist?

Check the water level: if too low, auto shut-off is activated. Make sure the output nozzle is not blocked. Clean the ultrasonic membrane with a soft brush.

How to activate the LED color change?

Press the dedicated LED button to switch to color cycling mode. Each press changes the mode: fixed, cycle, or off.

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for your purchase of the Muse Aroma Diuser. Please read these instrucons carefully and save this manual for future reference. By breaking up a mixture of water and essenal oils into millions of micro-parcles, this aroma diuser helps you relax at home. Oregon Scienc designed this product to provide you with three well-known holisc relaxaon methods: aromatherapy, color therapy and sound therapy.

WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN PRESENT, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

• Always follow instrucons in Care and Maintenance when cleaning the unit.
• To avoid electric shock and/or a r hazard, do not immerse the unit in liquid.
- Do not pull the electrical cord to move or unplug the unit.
• Do not disassemble the unit when it is plugged into a power supply or in operaon.
- To avoid electric shock and/or a re hazard, do not clean the power jack with water detergent or any other liquid.
- Do not plug or unplug the power cord with wet hands.

PRECAUTIONS

DOs

• Handle the unit and porcelain cover with care
  • Use with Itered tap water rather than disllled water. Add suicient water before adding essenal oil
  • Pour maximum 160ml of room temperature tap water into the water tank.
• Remove dust regularly with a dry cloth. Accumulated dust poses a potenal re hazard.
• Place the unit on a dry, level, stable and water-resistant surface with safe surroundings.
• For beer mist distribuon in the room, place the unit on a raised surface with the mist directed into an open area.
• Children and pets should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit or its components.
  • Use only a few drops of essenal oil. DO NOT exceed the suggested amount.
• When disposing of this product, ensure it is collected separately for special waste treatment.
• The contents of this manual may not be reproduced without the permission of the manufacturer.
  • Use only with essenal oil. Add sucient water before adding essenal oil.

DON'Ts

• DO NOT turn the unit upside down without removing the porcelain cover, plasc cover and

liquid content from the water tank

• DO NOT let water, detergent or any other liquid enter the opening to the fan
- DO NOT block the venlaon inlet at the boom by placing the unit on so surface such as cushions, or carpet.
DO NOT tamper with the unit's internal components. This invalidates the warranty.
• DO NOT subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, temperature or humidity.
• DO NOT cover the unit with newspaper, curtains etc. when in operaon.
• DO NOT direct the mist towards any electrical appliance, furniture, plant, paint or heat source.

- DO NOT inhale mist directly from the mist outlet.

• DO NOT clean or touch the diusing plate during operaon.

- DO NOT obstruct the air inlet or air outlet of the unit.

- DO NOT use water from which people have been drinking.

- DO NOT place the unit directly on the oor. Flooring may be damaged if in direct contact with the mist for a prolonged period.

• DO NOT use in humid locaons.

- DO NOT II the water container beyond the maximum mark indicated.

• DO NOT immerse the unit in water. If you spill liquid on the unit, dry it immediately with a so, lint-free cloth.

- DO NOT clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive materials.

• DO NOT use water over 40 °C.

GETTING STARTED

TO FILL AND CONNECT TO POWER SOURCE

1. Remove the porcelain cover and the plasc cover from the unit.

1. Plug the power adaptor into the DC socket.
2. Place the unit on a stable and level surface.
3. Pour a maximum of 150ml of room temperature tap water into the water tank.
4. Add a few drops of essenal oil into the water tank as illustrated.

5. Put the plasc cover and porcelain cover back on the unit.

6. Connect the power adaptor to the mains power supply.

7. Press the POWER buon ⏻ on the remote control to turn on the unit.

NOTE

• Do not use dislled water.
• Do not use water over 40 °C.
• Use water soluble essenal oils only.
• Switch o and unplug the unit from the mains before moving or cleaning the unit.
• Do not overll the water tank. Always keep the unit body dry.
• Do not turn the unit upside down without removing the porcelain cover, plasc cover and liquid content from the water tank.

TO EMPTY THE WATER TANK

1. Press the POWER buon on the remote control to turn o the unit. Unplug from the mains.
2. Remove the porcelain cover and plasc cover from the unit.
3. Pour out the water from the tank.
4. Put the covers back on the unit when nished.

NOTE

• Do not pour water through the diuser outlet.
• If water spills onto the unit body, the power cable or the power plug, immediately wipe with a so lint-free cloth to remove all moisture.

USING THE AROMA DIFFUSER

DIFFUSION

• Press the DIFFUSE buon repeatedly to select the desired dispersal mode.
  • The order of seng choices is high, low, and o.
• When there is insucient water, the blue LED indicator will ash unl the water tank is lled. You should turn o the unit by press the POWER buon , rel the water tank and then turn on the unit and select the diusion funcon again.
• When the two orange LEDs ash simultaneously, please contact your local customer service.

NOTE

- Do not direct the aromac mist towards furniture or electrical appliances.

LIGHTING SETTINGS

• Press the LIGHTING buon repeatedly to select the desired lightng mode.
  • The order of seng choices is on, candle light eect and o.

SLEEP TIMER SETTINGS

• Press the SLEEP TIMER buon z^z repeatedly to toggle mer sengs or to turn o the mer.
  • The order of seng choices is 60 minutes, 120 minutes, and o.

- When the 60 minute mer is selected, one orange indicator light will turn on and the countdown will start. When the 120 minute mer is selected, two orange indicators light will turn on and the countdown will start.

- The unit will switch o when the mer ends. Press the POWER buon unit and select funcons.

• Pour out remaining water before storing or transporting the unit.
