How do I set the clock on the PLL-K200?
Press and hold the Clock button for 3 seconds. Use the Tuning Up/Down buttons to adjust hours, then press Clock again to set minutes. Confirm by pressing Clock again.
Can I use rechargeable batteries?
Yes, you can use rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. Note that the battery indicator may be less accurate with rechargeables.
Why is the FM reception weak?
Extend the telescopic antenna fully and rotate the radio for best signal. If indoors, try near a window. The radio uses PLL digital tuning for improved stability.
How do I save a radio station preset?
Tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the Preset buttons (1-10) until you hear a beep. The station is stored.
Does this radio have an alarm function?
Yes, the PLL-K200 has an alarm that can be set to wake you with a beep or the last played radio station. See the clock setting procedure for details.
What type of AC adapter is needed?
The radio requires a 5V DC adapter with a center-positive tip. The barrel plug size is 3.5mm outer diameter and 1.35mm inner diameter. Current rating at least 500mA.
How do I clean the radio?
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners, liquids, or spray directly onto the radio. Keep the speaker grille clean with a brush.
The display shows 'Err' or '--'. What does this mean?
This usually indicates that the batteries are too low or the clock was reset. Replace batteries or reconnect power and reset the clock. If the problem persists, contact support.
Can I listen with headphones?
Yes, plug standard 3.5mm stereo headphones into the jack on the side of the radio. The built-in speaker will be muted automatically.
What is the battery life?
With normal volume and alkaline AA batteries, the radio can operate for approximately 30 hours. Actual battery life depends on volume level and usage.
