Thank you for having chosen a Moulinex range appliance.
Your Easy Max Compact mixer offers you exclusive advantages:

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read the instructions leaflet before first using your appliance and respect them when using it.
a. Before connecting this appliance to the mains power supply, check that the mains voltage is the same as that shown on the appliance. Otherwise you will risk damaging the appliance or causing yourself injury. Any error in connection negates the warranty.
b. This product has been designed and manufactured for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply. Its prolonged use for commercial and professional purposes is liable to overload it and cause damage or bodily injury. Use in such conditions cancels the appliance's warranty.
c. never use the appliance if you have wet hands or on a humid or moistened surface. Avoid wetting the appliance's electrical components and never immerse it in water.
d. Place the appliance out of reach of children. To avoid accidents, this product must not be used by a child or anyone not having read the present instructions.
e. People whose physical, sensorial or mental capacities do not allow them to use the appliance without risk must only use it under assistance or surveillance of a responsible adult.
f. Always disconnect the appliance when you stop using it and before cleaning it.
g. Do not use an appliance if it has fallen to the ground or in the event of operating anomaly.
h. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service centre or a person with similar qualification to avoid any danger.
i. To keep the appliance's warranty and avoid any technical problem, never try to disassemble or repair the appliance yourself and do not let any unqualified person do so.
j. Do not let the cord hang over a table or work surface or come into contact with hot surfaces. You would risk damaging the cord's insulation and causing technical problems and accidents.
k. Never pull on the power supply cord to move or unplug the appliance as this could impair operation of the appliance or even cause accidents.

BRINGING INTO SERVICE
- Before first use, clean your accessories in soapy water then rinse and dry carefully.

You can use your mixer to make light preparations: mayonnaise, whisked egg whites, sauces, light sponge cake and pancake mixtures, etc.
-
Do not use for thicker mixtures for example: tarts, brioche, dough, heavy cake mixture such as Fruit cake or Maderia cake, mashed potato, etc.
The plastic whisks (D) are especially recommended for preparations made in containers with a non-stick coating and for quieter operation.

USE
- Check that the control button (B) is in position "0".
- Fit the whisks (C or D) to the body of the appliance (A).

Use accessories in identical pairs.
-
Select a speed with the control button (B) to start the appliance.
- Set the control button (B) to "0" so as to eject the accessories by simply applying pressure forward.

PRACTICAL HINTS
. Set to speed 1 to start mixing a preparation and avoid splashing the contents.
. To continue preparing your mix, use speed 2.
Gingerbread:
For this recipe, use the set of MAX
whisks (C).
150g plain white flour + 150g rye flour + 1 packet (11g) or 3 level teaspoons of baking powder, 150g of caster sugar + 1 packet of vanilla sugar (7.5g) - optional spices: cinnamon sticks (4g), cardamom seeds (1g), star anise (1g), ground nutmeg (0.2g = 1 pinch), 250g runny honey, 1 whole egg, 50ml milk
- Put the two flours, the baking powder and the two sugars into a bowl.
- grind the spices and add them to the preparation
- add the honey, egg and milk mix at maximum speed 2 for 1 minute.
Pour the mixture in a buttered and lined cake (25-26 cm) tin and bake in the oven for about 1 hour on thermostat 5 (200^) .(UK gas mark 6).

CLEANING
- Unplug the appliance.

Clean the whisks immediately after use to avoid the remainder of egg or oil mixes sticking to or drying on them.

You can clean the accessories in the dishwasher.
- Clean the body of the appliance (A) with a moist sponge only and dry thoroughly.
