How to assemble the appliance for chopping?

Place the bowl on the motor unit by turning it counterclockwise. Insert the chopping knife onto the shaft, then position the lid and turn it until it clicks into place. Make sure the lid is properly locked before plugging in and using the appliance.

How to use the grating and slicing discs?

Mount the bowl on the motor, insert the expeller disc then the grating and slicing disc. Place the disc lid and lock it. Put a container under the food outlet, plug in the appliance, insert food through the feed tube and press the switch while pushing with the pusher.

What is the maximum continuous operating time?

Do not operate the knife or disc for more than 1 minute at a time. After one minute, let the appliance cool down for 5 minutes before using it again.

Can I chop hard foods like ice cubes or coffee beans?

No, the appliance is not suitable for preparing very hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, sugar, rice, or spices. Use it only for soft or semi-hard foods.

How to clean the appliance?

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. The motor unit must never be immersed in water or placed in a dishwasher; clean it with a damp cloth. Removable parts (bowl, lids, knife, discs) can be washed with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.

3. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Before using this appliance for the first time, read the following instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
  Make sure that the mains voltage in your home corresponds to that indicated on the appliance.
• In the event of incompatibility between the mains socket and the appliance plug, replace the socket with a suitable one, using a qualified professional.
• The electrical safety of the appliance is only guaranteed if it is connected to an efficient earth installation, as foreseen in applicable electrical safety regulations. If in doubt, contact a qualified professional.
• The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and or extension cables is not recommended. Where it is not possible to avoid their use, only adaptors or extensions that comply with applicable safety regulations should be used, and ensuring that the indicated voltage limit is not exceeded.
  After removing the packaging, check

that the appliance is in perfect condition, if in doubt, contact the nearest Technical Support Service.

• Packaging elements (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, etc.), should not be left within the reach of children because they can be dangerous.
• The appliance is for domestic use only. Any other use is considered unsuitable or dangerous.
• The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any damages that may arise from improper or inadequate use, or for repairs conducted by non-qualified personnel.

• Do not use detergents or abrasive sponges to clean the appliance.

  Make sure that the motor has completely stopped before changing blades.
  Hold the blade by the shaft and the disks on the outside to avoid cutting yourself.
• Disconnect the appliance before removing and changing the cutting tools.
• Do not remove the cover until the blades have stopped turning.
• Place a container under the opening where the food will come out when working with the slicing and shredding disk.
• Do not work with the knife or the disk for more than 1 minute at a time. After 1 minute in operation, let it cool for 5 minutes.
• Do not try to cut hard foods, such as coffee, ice cubes, sugar, rice, spices, etc.
• Remove the bones and cartilage before putting meat in the beaker.
• Do not cut or shred foods such as cheese, tomatoes, lemons, dates, peaches or frozen foods.

4. ASSEMBLY

FOR MINCING

• Fit the beaker (C) on the motor (A) making sure the devices are properly adjusted. Turn the beaker anti-clockwise until it fits properly. (fig. 2)
• Insert the mincing blade (D) in the shaft. (fig. 3)

• Fit the cover (E) over the beaker and turn it anti-clockwise as far as it will go (fig. 4).

• Make sure that the cover fits properly into the safety slot.

FOR SHREDDING AND SLICING

• Fit the beaker (C) on the motor (A) making sure the devices are properly adjusted. Turn the beaker anti-clockwise until it fits properly. (fig. 2)
• Insert the ejector disk (F) in the shaft.
• Fit the shredding and slicing disk (G) over the ejector disk (fig. 5) (the ejector disk and the shredding and slicing disk can be used on both sides).
• Fit the cover which corresponds to the disk (1) and turn it anti-clockwise as far as it will go (fig. 6).
• Make sure that the cover fits properly into the safety slot.

5. OPERATION

FOR MINCING

1. Follow the assembly instructions "for mincing".
2. Put the food into the beaker.
3. Close the cover (E) (fig. 4)
4. Plug in the appliance
5. Press the switch (B). The appliance will remain on whilst you press the switch.
6. Release the switch and only remove the cover when the blade has stopped turning.
7. Unplug the appliance.
8. Remove the knife (D) carefully and empty the beaker.

FOR SHREDDING AND SLICING

1. Follow the assembly instructions "for shredding and slicing".
2. Put a container under the opening where the food comes out (H).
3. Plug in the appliance
4. Put the food in the opening (J).
5. Press the switch (B) and push the food slowly with the pusher (K) (fig. 7).
6. The appliance will remain on whilst you press the switch.
7. Only remove the disk cover (I) when the shredding and slicing disks have stopped turning.
8. Unplug the appliance.

6. CLEANING

Unplug the appliance before cleaning.

Dismantle the appliance by reversing the "assembly" instructions in section 4.

In order to prevent the residue from drying out, clean the components immediately after use.

Do not put the motor in the dishwasher, under the tap or submerge it in water.

Use a damp cloth to clean the motor.

Clean the individual components with warm water and detergent. They can also be washed in the dishwasher.
