How do I pair the iLive IAEBT600 earphones with my phone?

Make sure the earphones are fully charged. Remove them from the charging case; they will enter pairing mode automatically (LED flashes red and blue). On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select IAEBT600 from the list. If not found, press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?

The earbuds provide up to 6 hours of playback time. The charging case offers an additional 12 hours, giving a total of 18 hours before needing to recharge the case itself.

How do I charge the earphones and the case?

Place the earbuds into the charging case and close the lid. Connect the included Micro USB cable to the case’s charging port and plug it into a USB power source (e.g., computer or wall adapter). The case LEDs will indicate charging progress. A full charge takes about 2 hours.

Can I use just one earbud at a time?

Yes, you can use either the left or right earbud independently. Simply take out the desired earbud and it will connect automatically. To use both, take both out and they will pair together.

How do I reset the IAEBT600 earphones?

If you experience pairing issues, reset the earphones: place them in the charging case, leave the lid open, then press and hold the multi-function button on both earbuds for 10 seconds until the LEDs flash red rapidly. Close the case for 10 seconds, then reopen and re-pair.

Are the earphones waterproof or sweatproof?

The IAEBT600 earphones have an IPX5 rating, meaning they are protected against sweat and light water splashes. They are not fully waterproof; do not submerge them in water.

How should I clean the earphones?

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the earbuds and charging contacts. For the ear tips, remove them and rinse with water, then dry thoroughly before reattaching. Avoid using alcohol or harsh chemicals.

What should I do if one earbud stops working?

First, ensure both earbuds are charged. Try resetting them (see FAQ on reset). If the issue persists, check the audio balance settings on your phone. If only one side has sound, try re-pairing. If still broken, contact iLive support for warranty service.

How do I adjust the volume or skip tracks?

Use the on-ear controls: short press the + button to increase volume, – button to decrease. Press and hold the + button to skip to the next track, press and hold the – button to go back to the previous track. Single press the multi-function button to play/pause or answer calls.

Are these earphones compatible with all smartphones?

Yes, the IAEBT600 earphones use Bluetooth 5.0 and are compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled device, including iOS, Android, and Windows phones, as well as tablets and computers with Bluetooth.

Press and hold for 2 seconds to switch modes between: Normal, Transparent, and ANC (RIGHT).

Charging Contacts

Charging the Earbuds

1. Open the cover and place the earbuds on the charging contacts. Be sure to match the left and right earbuds with the correct docking station in the case.
2. When charging, the first and fourth Power & Battery Indicator LEDs on the case will flash white. When charging is complete, the indicator LEDs will turn off.
3. Earbud Indicator LEDs will turn red when charging. When fully charged, the LEDs will turn off.

Power & Battery Indicator LEDs

The 4 white LEDs represent the amount of battery the case charger has.

1 LED=25%
2 LEDs=50%
3 LEDs=75%
4 LEDs=100%

Charging the Case

Using a USB-C to USB cable (included), connect to the USB port of a powered on computer or USB power adaptor (not included) to charge the case. When the case is charging the Power & Battery Indicator LEDs will flash white. When fully charged all LEDs will turn solid white.

Pairing Bluetooth

Note: When earbuds are powered on they automatically link and enter into pairing mode. You can power on a single earbud to use as a single unit if you wish.

1. With the earbuds linked, you can now connect to your Bluetooth device. The LED indicator on the right earbud will continue flashing blue and red, indicating it is ready to pair to a Bluetooth device.
2. On your Bluetooth device, access Bluetooth Settings and search for nearby devices. Select IAEBT600 when it is discovered. When successfully connected to your Bluetooth device, the LED indicator on both of the earbuds will flash blue, slowly and a voice prompt will announce the Bluetooth connection.
3. Audio played through the connected Bluetooth device will now be heard through both earbuds. Use the controls on the connected device to play audio and adjust volume.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of truly wireless earbuds, you may experience slight interruptions with your audio in areas with multiple 2.4Ghz bands or in high wireless traffic areas.

Speakerphone

• To accept or end a phone call, press the Function button.
• You can also use the controls on the connected phone to handle phone functions.

Charging Case & Auto-On Feature

While the case power is ON:

• Placing the earbuds in the charging case will automatically power them off and begin charging.
• Removing the earbuds from the case will automatically power them on, link them, and connect to the last used Bluetooth device (earbuds must have been linked and connected to a Bluetooth device already).

Active Noise Canceling & Transparent

The Active Noise Canceling feature will electronically mute background noise. It can be used to enhance the quality of any music or audio that is playing through the earbuds.

Transparent Mode enables the earbuds to pick up external sounds, so you can stay aware of your surroundings.
