It is recommended to clean the metal grease filters every month or more frequently if the hood is used intensively. Remove them and wash with warm soapy water or in the dishwasher.

Can I use the hood without a charcoal filter?

Yes, if the hood is installed in extraction mode (ducting outside), no charcoal filter is needed. For recirculation mode, a charcoal filter is required.

How do I replace the light bulb?

First, disconnect the hood from power. Depending on the model, you may need to remove the lamp cover or filter. Use a suitable replacement bulb (type specified in manual, typically G4 20W halogen or LED).

What is the recommended installation height above the hob?

For electric hobs, the minimum height is 65 cm; for gas hobs, 75 cm. Refer to your hob manual for exact distances.

Can the hood be used for recirculation?

Yes, but you need to purchase a charcoal filter separately and install it according to the instructions. The hood can be converted from ducted to recirculation mode.

Why is the hood not extracting properly?

Check if the grease filters are clogged. Also ensure the duct is not blocked and that the charcoal filter (if used) is not saturated. Regular maintenance is essential.

How do I reset the filter saturation indicator?

Press and hold the filter reset button (often marked with a filter icon) for about 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off. Refer to the manual for exact location.
