How do I connect the FBL6000 PRO to my network?

Use the TCP/IP port on the back of the device. Set an IP address via the menu or using the ZKAccess software. Ensure your switch/router supports DHCP or configure a static IP.

What types of cards are supported?

The device supports 125kHz EM or 13.56MHz Mifare cards (depending on model variant). It reads card UID for identification.

How can I add a new user's fingerprint?

Go to Menu > User Management > Enroll User. Select 'Fingerprint' and place the same finger on the sensor three times. The device will prompt when successful.

What do I do if the device doesn't recognize my fingerprint?

Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try a different angle or re-enroll the finger. Also check that the sensor is not scratched or dirty. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth.

Can I export attendance logs?

Yes. Use the USB port to export logs in text/CSV format. Alternatively, use the ZKAccess software to download records over TCP/IP.

How do I reset the device to factory defaults?

Press and hold the Reset button (inside the pin hole) for 5 seconds. The device will restart with default settings. This does not delete user data unless you choose to format memory.

What is the recommended maintenance for the fingerprint sensor?

Clean the sensor surface weekly with a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Ensure the sensor is dry before use.

How do I connect an electric lock?

Connect the lock to the LOCK+ and LOCK- terminals. The relay is normally open (NO) and closes upon valid authentication. Use the provided power supply or an external one.

Can I use the device outdoors?

The device has an IP55 rating for the front panel, so it can withstand dust and water jets. However, avoid direct sun or rain. An optional weatherproof housing is recommended.

How many users can I store?

Up to 3,000 fingerprint templates and 10,000 card IDs. The device also stores 100,000 transaction records.

After installing the corresponding readers, FBL6000 Pro can support multiple verification methods, including RFID, fingerprint, QR code, palm verification and visible light facial recognition. Especially, palm verification and visible light facial recognition can realize touchless entrance control that helps avoid catching bacteria or germs from contaminated surfaces.
