How do I charge the camera?

Connect the camera to a PC via USB cable or to an AC adapter using the USB cable. The battery is built-in lithium. For the first three cycles, fully discharge then recharge for at least 6 hours.

How do I turn on WiFi and connect my phone?

Press and hold the REC/WiFi button for 5 seconds. The WiFi icon appears and the status LED flashes orange. On your phone, search for WiFi network 'view-0001' and enter password '1234567890'. Download the iSMART DV or SYMAGIX app from Google Play or Apple Store to control the camera.

What is Loop Recording and how do I use it?

Loop Recording records video in 5-minute segments. When the memory card is full, the oldest recordings are automatically overwritten. Switch to mode LOOP REC 1080p 30fps by pressing the ON/Mode button.

How do I insert and remove the memory card?

Ensure the camera is off. Insert the memory card into the slot with the correct orientation (see outline near slot). Push gently until it clicks. To remove, push gently until it clicks again and slide out. If no card is inserted, a flashing icon warns of insufficient memory.

How do I switch between video and photo modes?

Press the ON/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through modes: REC 1080p30, REC 720p60, LOOP REC 1080p30, and PHOTO (5MP).

What should I do if the camera stops recording?

Check that the memory card has enough free space and is inserted correctly. You can also change the video resolution in the settings menu. If the problem persists, update the firmware from www.iget.eu.

How do I clean the camera lens?

Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the glass lens. Avoid abrasive materials.

Is the camera waterproof without the case?

No. The camera itself is not waterproof. Water resistance is only ensured when it is properly sealed inside the included watertight case. Ensure the case is securely closed to prevent moisture damage.

How do I update the firmware?

Visit www.iget.eu to check for the latest software version for your model. Follow the instructions provided on the website to update.

What is covered by the warranty?

The warranty is 24 months and covers defects found during normal use. It does not cover damage from improper installation, static electricity, misuse, normal wear (including battery capacity loss), or use in dusty/polluted environments. Keep the original packaging and warranty card with serial number.

For the proper making of any complaint we advice to ask your dealer for filing up and confirming this warranty card including the statement of serial number of the product purchased, which must match the serial number, referred to as the proof of purchase and delivery note, as well as the purchased product. The warranty card is on the last pages of this manual.

Warning:

The camera resistance to water is ensured by the watertight case. Pay a higher attention if the case is safely closed. No claims will be applied to the possible oxidation, caused by entering the moisture to the camera for the reasons of improper closing of the watertight case.

Closing/opening of the waterproof case

1. Insert the camera to the case with the lens forward so that the display faces the color keys and a fixing mechanism on the case.
2. Close the back cover of the phone.
3. Fasten the back cover of case by means of the colored fastening mechanism and snap it on the lens side
4. This gives you a secure hold of the back cover and the closure of case against moisture
5. Reopen the case by pulling a lock on the fastening mechanism and loosen the back case cover.

Inserting and ejecting the memory card

HINT: When inserting or ejecting the memory card, the device shuts off automatically. We therefore recommend having the camera off before this act.

1. Insert carefully the memory card into the memory card slot. Pay attention to the correct direction of card insertion as shown on outline next to slot. Push gently the card into, until it firmly sticks in the device slot.
2. To remove the card, push it gently and once the mechanism holding the card in the slot is clicking, you can move it out of the device.
3. If no card is inserted, the display will automatically warn of memory lack by the flashing icon of memory card on the display.

Warning:

1. Pay attention to the direction, in which the card is inserted into the slot. By connecting the card in the wrong direction, the card can also damage the card slot.
2. When the card is properly connected, the camera will set the card to use.
3. You should always back up the documents and data, stored in the card. We cannot bear any responsibility for an eventual loss of data.
4. Format the memory card before first use.

Inserting the battery

Charging:

During the first three cycles charge the battery only, when it is completely discharged and recharge it at least 6 hours until it is fully charged.

The device contains a built-in lithium battery, which is designed for repeated recharging. Recharging for the first time, apply one of the following procedure:

1. Connect the camera via USB cable to the PC.
2. Connect the camera to the AC adapter using the USB cable and plug it into the wall outlet.

Note: Charging the battery to full capacity can take up to 6 hours.

Camera ON / OFF / Video recording

1. Pressing ⏻ for 3 seconds, you will turn on the camera. After turning on the camera the indicator light, will lights up in blue colour.
2. After turning on the camera automatically sets the video mode.
3. Press REC button to start recording immediately. To stop the recording, click REC again, the record is automatically saved on the memory card.
4. If you want the device off, press ⏻ on/off button.

Switching between modes

You can switch between the different modes of camera by pressing the ON/Mode button.

- Standard video recording in HD - without recording in loop

1. Mode: LOOP REC 1080p 30fps

- Video recording in Full HD resolution to 5 minute recordings, which constantly overwrite the oldest recordings after filling the memory card.

WiFi

The camera can be controlled via WiFi by means of the smart mobile phone.

To turn on the WiFi press the REC / WiFi button for 5 seconds.

The WIFI icon is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. The status LED will start flashing orange. To turn off the WiFi press again the REC / WiFi for 5 seconds.

Connecting a mobile phone

1. Turn on the WiFi on the phone.
2. Search for available WiFi networks.
3. Find the WiFi name of the camera: view-0001 and click on it.
4. Enter the password 1234567890.
5. The camera is connected to a phone.

Applications for camera control via phone

Using these applications you can: to control the camera, to change the camera settings, to format the card, to view, to download and to share the recordings. You can download the applications to your phone using Google Play or Apple Store applications.

3. You can control (set) the camera by phone
4. Move videos and photos to the phone and share them with your friends.

Troubleshooting

The device has stopped to take pictures or video records.

a) Make sure that the memory card has enough free space and if not, replace it or remove some data.
b) Make sure that the memory card is plugged correctly.
c) Change the resolution of the lens in the menu Settings.

The picture or video is blurred.

Clean the glass of camera lens with a soft cloth.

Information for Customers about Warranty Terms and Conditions:

Warranty shall apply to defects of purchased product, found during its warranty period.

When purchasing a particular product, please consider carefully what properties and functions you expect your product to have.

The fact that purchased product shall not satisfy your later requirements shall not give any reason for complaint.

Please, prior to the first use of this product read carefully its operating instructions and follow these instructions consistently.

We recommend you to keep original product packing during the warranty period for possible transport of the product in such a way so as to prevent any product damage during its transport and handling.

For the purpose of due application of any complaint about the product we recommend you to ask Seller to fill-in and confirm this Warranty Card including identification of serial number of purchased product, which shall comply with the serial number specified both in the document proving product purchase and delivery note and purchased product.

In this connection Customer hereby takes into account that unless this Warranty Card specifies serial number of purchased product, i.e., comparison of such serial number identified in the product with the serial number identified in this Warranty Card and document of product purchase/or delivery note shall not allow to confirm that particular product has come from Seller, in case of any doubts about the origin of such particular product Seller shall be entitled to automatically and without any other acts to reject the complaint of such goods.

Warranty shall not apply to:

• product damage suffered by unqualified installation of firmware or its modification;
• product damage by static electricity;
• product use for any other purposes than designed, described in attached operating instructions;
• damage to warranty seal of the producer, attached to the product;
• product damage inconsistent with the operating instructions, technical standards or safety regulations valid in the Czech Republic;
• product damage resulting from normal wear and tear;
• discharged batteries, decrease in battery capacity caused by its wear and tear;
• product defects caused by the use in dusty, polluted or in any other way dissatisfactory environment pursuant to attached operating instructions.

Wear and tear of the product and its components caused by their common use (discharged batteries, decreased capacity of accumulator, wear and tear of mechanical or displaying components, wear and tear of supply cables, headphones etc.) shall be subject neither to defect warranty nor quality warranty in the moment of take-over.

Furthermore, complaints about product parameters, not included in the operating instructions or in any commercial-technical documentation of Seller, related to the product, shall not be subject to quality warranty in the moment of take-over.

Proof of product purchase, or delivery note, shall constitute an integral part of this Warranty Card.
