SAFETY MEASURES

Before connecting and using the unit, read the instruction manual carefully. Follow all the warnings and operating recommendations for operation of the unit listed in this manual. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Before using the unit, examine the power cord and the power cord connector located on the unit body closely and make sure that they are not damaged. Do not use the unit if power cord or power cord connector are damaged.
• Before switching the unit on make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to the unit operating voltage.
• Power cord is equipped with "euro plug"; plug it into the socket with reliable grounding contact.
• Do not use adapters for plugging the unit in.
• Make sure that one end of the power cord is properly inserted into the connector on the unit body and the other end, i.e. plug, into the mains socket.
• Use only the supplied power cord, do not use power cords of other units.
• Provide that the power cord does not contact with hot surfaces and sharp furniture edges. Avoid damaging the isolation of the power cord.
• Do not touch the power cord or power plug with wet hands.
• Do not immerse the unit, the power cord and power plug into water or other liquids.
• Never pull the power cord, when disconnecting the unit from the mains, take the power plug and carefully pull it out of the socket.
• Use only the removable parts supplied with the unit.
• Place the unit on a flat heat-resistant surface away from sources of moisture, heat and open flame.
• Place the unit with free access to the mains socket.
  • Use the unit in places with proper ventilation.
  • Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
  • Do not use the unit outdoors.
• Do not place the unit too close to walls and furniture walls.
• If the unit was dropped into water, unplug it immediately. Do not put your hands into water. Apply to the authorized service center for the further use of the unit.

• Do not insert foreign objects into the openings of the unit or between its parts.

• Provide that edges of clothes or foreign objects do not get between the lid and multicooker body.

• Do not leave the operating unit unattended, always switch the unit off and unplug it when you are not using it.
• In order to avoid injury do not bend over the steam release opening and opened bowl.
• Be very careful when opening the multi-cooker lid.
• Keep the steam release lid clean, clean it when it gets dirty.
• Never use the multicoker without the installed bowl, do not switch it on without products and sufficient amount of liquid in the cooking bowl.
• Do not use the multicooker without protection screen installed on the lid.
• Do not use the multicooker if the silicone gasket on the protection screen is damaged.
• Follow the recommendations in the recipe book for amount of dry products and required liquids volume while cooking.
• Do not remove the bowl during operation.
• Do not cover the multicooker during operation.
• Do not carry the unit during operation. Use the carrying handle, having unplugged the unit and let it cool down preliminary.
• If you need to take out the hot bowl, use pot-holders.
  • Clean the unit regularly.
• For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.

Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!

• Never allow children to use the unit as a toy.
- This unit is not intended for usage by children or disabled persons unless they are given all the necessary and understandable instructions by a person who is responsible for their safety on safety measures and information about danger that can be caused by improper usage of the unit.
- Never use the unit if the power cord or the power plug is damaged, if the unit works improperly or after it was dropped. Do not try to repair the unit by yourself. Contact an authorized service center for all repair issues.

In case of unit transportation or storage at low temperature it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours at room temperature before switching on.

• Before switching the unit on, make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to unit operating voltage.
• Unpack the unit, remove any stickers and package materials.
• Place the unit on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from all kitchen heat sources (gas cooker, electric cooker or cooking unit).
• Place the multicooker keeping at least 20 cm gap between the multicooker body and the wall and 30-40 cm gap above the unit.
• Do not place the multicooker close to the objects that can be damaged by the released steam of high temperature.

Attention! Do not place the unit near bath tubs, kitchen sinks or other containers filled with water.

• Remove the steam release lid (5) pulling it upwards.
• Open the multicooker lid (9) by pressing the button (4).
• Remove the protection screen (6) with the silicone gasket, by pressing the clamps (7).
• Wash all the removable parts, protection screen (6) with silicone gasket, steam release lid (5), bowl (8), basket for steam cooking (20), soup ladle (17), spatula (16) and measuring cup (19) with a soft sponge with some neutral detergent, then rinse with running water and dry.
• Clean the unit body with a damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
• Install the protection screen (6) with silicone gasket, install the bowl (8), close the lid (9) and install the steam release lid (5) back to its place.

Using of the cooking bowl (8)

• Use the unit and all its parts for the intended purposes only.
• Do not use the cooking bowl (8) with other heating units or cooking surfaces.

ENGLISH

• Do not replace the bowl (8) with any other container.
  • Always make sure that the heating element (14) surface and the bottom of the bowl (8) are clean and dry.
• Do not use the bowl (8) for mixing products. Never chop the products in the bowl (8) in order to avoid damage of the non-stick coating.
• Never leave or keep any foreign objects in the bowl (8).
• When cooking stir the products in the bowl (8) only with the plastic soup ladle (17) or spatula (16). You can also use wooden, plastic or silicone kitchen tools.
• Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non-stick coating of the bowl (8).
• After cooking food with spices and seasonings it is recommended to wash the bowl (8) immediately after usage.
• In order to avoid damage of the non-stick coating do not put the bowl (8) into cold water immediately after cooking; let it cool down preliminary.
• The bowl (8) is not intended for washing in the dish washing machine.

Control panel buttons (2)

«Reheat» button (22)

After finishing of cooking program, the "Reheat" mode is switched on. You can switch the "Reheat" mode on by yourself for heating up the cooked products by pressing the "Reheat" button (22), the indicator (23) will light up. To stop the reheat mode press "Cancel" button (24), the "Reheat" mode will be switched off and the indicator (23) will go out.

Note: - "Reheat" mode is not intended for heating up cold products.

«Cancel» button (24)

«Cancel» Button (24) is intended for resetting of cooking programs chosen incorrectly and for switching already running programs off. Press the "Cancel" button (24), a cooking program set earlier will be switched off and the indicator of the "Milk Porridge" program will blink.

The “Delayed start” button (25) is used for cooking end time setting. To set the time use buttons (27) and (28).

"Hours" (27) and "Minutes" (28) buttons

The buttons (27, 28) are used to change cooking time in the programs and to set the cooking end time.

«Timer» Button (29)

Press the “Timer” button (29) to change cooking time, the display (3) will show the word “Timer” and the blinking cooking time value set by default. Use “Hours” (27) and “Minutes” (28) buttons to set the necessary cooking time (see the table).

«Menu» Button (30)

Press the button "Menu" (30) repeatedly to choose one of the cooking programs: Milk Porridge, Stew, Soup, Steam cooking, Cooking, Baking, Cereals, Bread. The choice of the cooking program is confirmed by the corresponding indicator which will light up on the display (3), the display (3) will also show the icons "----", the indicator (32) of the "Start" button (31) will be blinking.

If necessary you can set the cooking time manually (see the table).

«Start» Button (31)

Press the "Start" button (31) to switch the chosen cooking program on, the display (3) will show the default program time, the indicator (32) will be alight constantly. To switch the cooking program off, press the "Cancel" button (24), the indicator (32) will go out, and the "Milk Porridge" program indicator will be blinking on the display (3).

Using of the multicooker

- Install the bowl (8) in the process chamber. Make sure that the bowl (8) is placed evenly and is in secure contact with heating element (14) surface.

Note:

• Do not use the bowl (8) for washing cereals and chopping products, this can damage the non-stick coating.
• Make sure that there are no foreign objects, dirt and moisture in the process chamber and on the bottom of the bowl (8).
• Wipe the outer surface and the bottom of the bowl (8) dry before use.
• In the middle of the heating element (14) there is a temperature sensor (15). Make sure that the movement of the sensor is not limited.
• If you steam food, pour water in the bowl (8) so that boiling water doesn't reach the bottom of the basket (20). Put the basket (20) with food into the bowl (8).
• After steam cooking do not remove the food with bare hands, use kitchen tools and accessories.
• Put the food into the bowl (8) following the recommendations given in the recipe (see «Recipe book»).

Note:

Make sure that the ingredients and liquids volume doesn't exceed the level of maximal mark «10» and is not lower than the level of minimal mark «2»

General example of loading products (as an example cereal is considered) and required water amount

Measure cereal with the measuring cup (19) (one measuring cup holds approximately 160 grams of cereal), wash it and place in the cas-serole.

Add water up to the corresponding level.

- For simplicity use the graduated scale in cups (CUP). The scale has marks for proportions of cereal and water.

For example: Put four measuring cups of cereal, pour water up to the mark of 4 cups (CUP).

• For cooking of fluid milk porridges the recommended proportion of rice and water has to be 1:3.
• Close the multicooker lid (9) until click.
• Insert the power cord connector into the socket (13) on the unit body and insert the power cord plug into the mains socket.

Auto-cooking programs

• Press the «Menu» button (30) repeatedly to choose one of the cooking programs: Milk Porridge, Stew, Soup, Steam cooking, Cooking, Baking, Cereals, Bread. The choice of the cooking program is confirmed by the corresponding indicator which will light up on the display (3).
• If necessary you can set the needed cooking time manually (see the table). Press the «Timer» button (29), the display (3) will show the word «Timer» and the blinking cooking time value set by default. Use «Hours» (27) and «Minutes» (28) buttons to set cooking time.
• Press the «Start» button (31) to switch the chosen cooking program on, the display (3) will show the default program time, the indicator (32) will be alight constantly.
• To switch the cooking program off, press the «Cancel» button (24), the indicator (32) will go out, and the «Milk Porridge» program indicator will be blinking on the display (3).

To set the cooking end time

Example: You go to bed at 11:00 PM and want breakfast to get ready by 8:30 AM (delay must be 9 hours 30 minutes).

Setting of the cooking end time

– switch the multicooker on at 11:00 PM;
– choose the cooking program you need;
- press the «Delayed Start» button (25), the display (3) will show the word «Delayed», the indicator (26) as well as the indicator (32) will be blinking;
- use «Hours» (27) and «Minutes» (28) buttons to set the time;

Note: - time setting step: hours – one hour; minutes - 10 minutes.

• Press the «Start» button (31), the indicator (32) will go out, the indicator (26) will be alight constantly;
• the display (3) will show countdown of time remaining till the cooking end;
  – the cooking process will end by 8:30 AM.
• after the cooking is finished, the «Reheat» mode will be switched on, the indicator (23) will light up.

Note:

After finishing of cooking program the multicooker is switched to the reheat mode and keeps the temperature of the ready meal for 24 hours, it is not recommended to leave the cooked food in the multicooker bowl for a long time, because this may spoil the food.

- «Reheat» mode is not intended for heating up cold products.

Attention!

• When opening the multicooker lid (9), be very careful in order to avoid burns, don't bend over the steam release lid (5) during unit operation and don't place open parts of your body above the bowl (8)!
• During the first operation of the multicooker some foreign smell from the heating element can appear. It is normal.
• Watch the food during cooking, if necessary, stir the products with the plastic soup ladle (17) or spatula (16). Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non-stick coating of the bowl (8).

Cleaning and care

• Unplug the unit and let it cool down.
- Wipe the unit body (1) and lid (9) with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe dry.
- Wash all the removable parts including the cooking bowl (8) with a soft sponge with a neutral detergent, then rinse under running water.
- Do not place the cooking bowl (8) in the dish washing machine.
• To clean the steam release lid (5) entirely remove it from the lid (9).
- Dismantle the lid (5), by turning the lower part counterclockwise to the "open" position and remove the lower part.
- Wash the upper and lower parts of the steam release lid (5) with a neutral detergent, rinse and dry.
- Assemble the steam release lid (5), by turning the lower part to the "close" position

• Install steam release lid (5) back to its place.
- Remove the protection screen (6) with the silicone gasket, by pressing the clamps (7), wash the protection screen (6) thoroughly with a small amount of neutral detergent; pay particular attention to the silicone gasket.
- Wipe the surface of the heating element (only when it is cold), do not allow water to get inside the unit body.
- Do not immerse the unit body, the power cord and power plug into water or any other liquids.
- Do not use abrasive and aggressive detergents for washing of the unit and accessories.
- Keep the unit away from children in a dry cool place.
