1 Description and Function:

Your glue gun is made for one-component PUR hot melt adhesives. It's applicable to:

• wood, glass, ceramics, some plastics, (not PP, PE styrofoam and silicone), leather, textiles, etc.
• The glue is made for interior and exterior use because it is stabil at temperatures from -40^ to +100^ . It offers fast and high fixity. Furthermore it is solvent free and thermally stable, because removable not under 130^ .

Model WZ HK 11-WL is operatable wireless or with mains cable.

2 Intended Use:

Your Fixpoint ^® - glue gun is provided for using like described in chapter 1. It is only allowed to use it in dry interior rooms. Disregarding and non-compliance of these terms and of the Notes on Safety may cause massive accidents and damages to people and things.

5 Notes on Safety:

ATTENTION! Demounting of the housing is only permitted to skilled electricians! There is a danger of electric-shock and burns!

• Your Fixpoint ^® product is no toy and children must not use it anyway, because it contains fragile, small and swallowable parts such as cables, which can strangle and shock people by electricity with incorrect use!
• Remove and dispose packaging materials, because playing children could cut on it. Furthermore there is a danger of swallowing and inhaling of incidentals and insulating of materials.
• Do not interrupt the product to extreme heat, coldness or direct sun insulation. Mind warmed up parts of the device during operating!
• Only place the product on fire resistant, not heat conducting and solid surfaces. Place model WZ HK 11-WL only on the heating station.
• Unplug the mains plug during thunder storms.
• Do not modify or alter the device or its accessories! Therefor mind chapter "warranty and liability".
  • Furthermore avoid vibrations, mechanical, magnetic and electro-magnetic influences, as well as liquid or dust effects.
• If defects, mechanical damages, disturbances or other problems occur, which are not solvable with this manual, take the device out of work immediately and consult your dealer for questions, repairing or change like it is described in chapter 11.
• Mind the specifications for transporting and use applicable methods for it, e.g. by transporting in the original packaging.
• Do not use any damaged parts.
• Never open the housing, because of working with a voltage of 230 Volts AC!
• Please attend to the terms of use in chapter 2.
  • The glue heats up to 140^ C. There is a risk of burning!
• Wear applicable gloves to avoid injuries.
• In case of burning, cool down the injured skin by flowing and cool water. Do not try to remove the glue until the glue is hard cured. Immediately call a doctor for emergencies.
• Mind the heating-up time and only use original Fixpoint ^ glue sticks for efficient operating.
• The device must be cooled down before placing it in storage to avoid smoldering fire.

6 Startup:

1. Place the glue gun on solid, fire resistant and not heat conducting surfaces, model WZ HK 11-WL on the heating station.
2. If requested, connect the mains cable to the glue gun, then to a mains socket.

ATTENTION! The glue guns heat up promptly!

Connect the mains cable of model WZ HK 11-WL also with its heating station and then with a mains socket for wireless operation.

ATTENTION! If the mains cable of WZ HK 11-WL is directly connected to the glue gun, a solid depositing on the heating station is not possible!

1. After a heating-up time of around 10 minutes, the glue gun is ready to use.

Model WZ HK 11-WL then is ready to operate for around 5 minutes and has to be charged again in the heating station.

7 Work guide:

• Only Fixpoint ^ glue sticks ensure precise operating.
• Surfaces of areas to be glued, must be dry, greaseless and clean.
• It is recommended to abrade some materials, such as metals like aluminium or zinc-plated metal for better hold.
• Work the material at ambient temperature, e.g. by heating materials like stones or metals for a slower curing process of the glue and a better alignment!
• Remove excessive glue after curing of about 2 minutes by scatching it with a knife.
• Put on the glue in points or stripes. Do not rod it.
• Unplug the mains plug for working brakes of more than 30 minutes.
• Connect the materials directly after putting on the glue for optimal fixity.
• Avoid direct sun insolation and UV light by gluing glass. Protect the gluing area e.g. with a sticker.

8 Care, Maintenance, Storage and Transport:

• Unplug the mains plug and let the device cool down before all further actions!
• Please clean the product only with a dry linen. Be careful with the cleaning to avoid scratches. For intensive pollution you can damp the linen with some water. Do not use cleaning supplies and chemicals, because they can corrode the plastic material.
• Remove residues of glue with a small knife carefully.
• Please store your Fixpoint ^® product in a dry and dustproof surround when not used for longer time. The product must be stored impenetrable for children. Please disconnect the device from mains when not in use.
• Please retain the packaging to avoid damages during transport.

9 Troubleshooting:

Problem Help
The glue gun does not heat up. Check the connection to an operating mains socket.
The glue sticks move very hardly. Make sure of using the right glue stick diameter of 7.2mm or 11mm by reading chapter 11.
other questions and problems Disconnect the device from mains immediately!Do not touch the device and consult your dealer!Mind chapter 5 and 10.

10 Warranty and Liability:

• The producer grants a 2 years guarantee to a new device.
- As the manufacturer has no influence on installation. warranty of the product only applies to the product itself.
- If any fault or damage is detected on your device. please contact your dealer and provide your sales slip or invoice as evidence of the purchase. if necessary. Your dealer will repair the fault either on site. or send the device to the manufacturer. You make the work of our technicians considerably easier. when you describe possible faults in detail – only then you can be assured that faults occurring only rarely will be found and repaired with certainty!
- The manufacturer is not liable for damages to persons or property caused by improper installation or operation not described in this guide. This includes. among others. any alteration and modification of the product and its accessories.
