What type of batteries should I use for the Barbie microwave?

Use 3 alkaline 1.5V AA/LR6 batteries. Demo batteries are included, but it is recommended to replace them before first use.

How do I install the batteries?

Open the battery compartment at the back of the oven using a screwdriver. Insert the 3 batteries respecting the indicated polarities, then close and tighten the screw.

Can I put real food in this microwave?

No, it is a toy. Only use the pretend food items provided. Never put real food inside.

How does the toy work?

Press the Open/Stop button to open the door, place the pretend food on the turntable, select a program, then press Start. The turntable rotates, lights come on and a sound effect plays. The oven stops automatically after a few seconds.

What if the microwave does not work?

First check the battery orientation. If the problem continues, remove and reinsert the batteries. If persistent malfunction, consult the manual or contact customer service.

How to clean the toy?

Use a slightly damp cloth. Do not use detergents. Avoid immersion in water.

What age is this toy recommended for?

It is suitable for children from 36 months. Not suitable for under 36 months due to choking hazards.

This section explains how to use your new Barbie Microwave. Read the following instructions to discover all its functions. Ask an adult to read and understand the safety instructions.

1. Press the "Open/Stop" button to open the microwave's door. Put the food items (fake) on the turning plate inside the toy.

1. Press one of the 3 program buttons to select the cooking mode. The corresponding picture will light up on the display panel

1. Press the Start button to turn on the microwave. The plate will start turning and the LEDs on the display panel and inside the toy will light up. The microwave stops automatically after a few seconds or if you press the "Open/Stop" button. The lights will blink to indicate that the cooking is finished.

Note:

• If the door is not closed properly, the microwave's will play a sound effect and the plate will not turn when the program buttons are pressed.
• When the door is properly closed, the microwave plays a "lock" sound effect.

Warning: this is a toy. Do not use real food.

Battery Information

The Barbie Microwave works with 3 × 1 , 5V — AA/LR6 type batteries (included). Ask an adult to help you to find and install the correct batteries.

WARNING: This product is supplied with batteries for demonstration purposes. They should be replaced with new batteries before use.

1. Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover located at the back of the microwave.
2. Install the 3 AA/LR6 size batteries observing the polarity indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment, and as per the diagram shown opposite.
3. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw.

Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Do not throw batteries into a fire. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the game for a long period of time.

WARNING: Mal-function or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or electrostatic discharge. Should any abnormal function occur, remove the batteries and insert them again.

Only use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the unit. Do not use detergent. Do not to expose the unit to direct sunlight or any other heat source. Do not immerse the unit in water. Do not dismantle or drop the unit. Do not try to twist or bend the unit.

NOTE: please keep this instruction manual, it contains important information.

This product is covered by our 2-year warranty. For any claim under the warranty or after sale service, please contact your distributor and present a valid proof of purchase. Our warranty covers any manufacturing material and workmanship defect, with the exception of any deterioration arising from the non-observance of the instruction manual or from any careless action implemented on this item (such as dismantling, exposition to heat and humidity, etc.).
