SAFETY WARNINGS
- After removing the appliance from its packaging, check the appliance's integrity referring to the provided design and for any damage caused during transport. Should you have any doubts, do not use the appliance and take it to an authorised service centre.
- The packaging material is not suitable for children to play with! Keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children as there is risk of suffocation!
- Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage indicated on the identification plate corresponds to that of the electrical mains supply available. The identification plate is on the appliance.
- This appliance must be used solely for the purpose for which it has been designed, that is as a HAND BLENDER / CHOPPER (where present) / WHISK (where present) for household use. Any other use is to be considered improper and therefore dangerous.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- DO NOT use the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
- NEVER pull the power cord, or the appliance itself, to remove the plug from the socket.
- DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun).
- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
- If there is a fault and/or the appliance operates irregularly, switch it off and do not tamper with it. For any repairs, only contact an authorised service centre.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
- DO NOT use the appliance near a sink full of water. During use, position the appliance so that it cannot fall into the sink.
- DO NOT use near kitchen burners. Make sure the power cord does not contact warm or incandescent surfaces, open flames, pots or other utensils.
- NEVER touch the moving parts.
- Only use the accessories supplied with the appliance.
- Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Do not allow children to use blender without supervision.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- The appliance is only for household and indoor use only.

- Remove the guards from the chopper (where present) cutting blades (9) before using it.

OPERATION
The on and off controls have the following speeds

WARNING!
All parts intended for contact with food during usage of the appliance must be thoroughly washed before use.
CONTAINER CLEANING (13)
- The container (13) can be washed:
- by hand, with water and detergent.
- in the dishwasher, making sure that the water temperature does not exceed 60^ C.
CLEANING THE HAND BLENDER
WARNING!
- Handle the blades (7) carefully to avoid cutting yourself. - Never immerse the motor unit (3) in water.
- Release the blender stem (5) from the motor unit (3) [Fig B] by rotating clockwise.
- The blender stem (5) can be washed:
- by hand, with water and detergent.
- in the dishwasher, making sure that the water temperature does not exceed 60^ C.
- Clean the motor unit (3) and the power cord (4) with a damp and well-wrung sponge.
- Dry with a dry cloth.
USING THE HAND BLENDER
WARNING!
- Do not use the appliance with solid ingredients.
- Operating time must be less than 30 seconds.
- Before repeating this cycle allow the appliance to cool completely.
- Do not leave food inside the container (13) longer than the necessary preparation time.
- Fasten the blender stem (5) to the motor unit (3) [Fig C] by rotating anticlockwise.
- Put the ingredients (vegetable soups, fruit with milk or water) into the container (13).
- Insert the blender stem (5) into the container (13) until the blades cover (6) is completely immersed in the mix.
- Plug the power cord (4) into the mains socket.
- Set the on/off control to the desired speed


BLENDING
- To blend mayonnaise, proceed as follows:
- Place 200 ml of oil, one whole egg and a pinch of salt in the container (13).
- Insert the blender stem (5) into the container (13) until the blades cover (6) is completely immersed in the mix.
- Plug the power cord (4) into the mains socket.
- Set the on/off control to low speed

- Keep the blender stem (5) in this position for approximately 15", until the oil begins to emulsify.
- Lift and lower the blender stem (5) delicately to emulsify all the oil.
- Correct the acidity by adding a spoon of vinegar or lemon.
CHOPPER CLEANING (WHERE PRESENT)

- Handle the chopper blades (9) carefully to avoid cutting yourself. immerse the chopper lid (8) and the motor unit (3) in water.
The chopper mixing bowl (10) and the chopper blades (9) can be washed:
- by hand, with water and detergent.
- in the dishwasher, making sure that the water temperature does not exceed 60^ C.
- Clean the motor unit (3), the power cord (4) and the lid (8) with a damp and well-wrung sponge.
- Dry with a dry cloth.
USING THE CHOPPER
WARNING!
- Do not use the chopper with only liquid ingredients.
- Do not chop parmesan cheese.
- Cut the ingredients in small pieces.
- Operating time must be less than 15 seconds.
- Before repeating this cycle allow the appliance to cool completely.
- Do not leave food inside the chopper mixing bowl (10) longer than the necessary preparation time.
Place the chopper blades (9) in the chopper mixing bowl (10) [Fig D].
- Put the ingredients (vegetables, meat, fruit, cooked ham) into the chopper mixing bowl (10).
- Close the chopper mixing bowl (10) with its lid (8) [Fig E].

- Insert the motor unit (3) on the chopper lid (8) [Fig F].
- Plug the power cord (4) into the mains socket.
- Set the on/off control to TURBO speed.
CHOPPING
To chop, proceed as follows:
- Place the chopper blades (9) in the chopper mixing bowl (10) [Fig D].
- Put the ingredients (vegetables, meat, fruit, cooked ham) in the chopper mixing bowl (10) without exceeding the 600 ml level.
- Close the chopper mixing bowl (10) with its lid (8) [Fig E].
- Insert the motor unit (3) on the chopper lid (8) [Fig F].
- Plug the power cord (4) into the mains socket.
- Set the on/off control at the speed (TURBO) for no more than 15 seconds.
KNEADING
To make batter, proceed as follows:
- Place the chopper blades (9) in the chopper mixing bowl (10) [Fig D].
- Put 220 g flour and 140 g water into the chopper mixing bowl (10).
- Close the chopper mixing bowl (10) with its lid (8) [Fig E].
- Insert the motor unit (3) on the chopper lid (8) [Fig F].
- Plug the power cord (4) into the mains socket.
- Set the on/off control at the speed TURBO for no more than 15 seconds.
The chopper can be purchased as an additional accessory at authorised lmetec service centres.
CLEANING THE WHISK (WHERE PRESENT)

RNING!
Never immerse the whisk support (11) in water.
Release the whisk (12) from the whisk support (11) [Fig G].
• The whisk (12) can be washed:
- by hand, with water and detergent.
- in the dishwasher, making sure that the water temperature does not exceed 60^ C.
USING THE WHISK
WARNING!
- Do not use the appliance with solid ingredients.
Operating time must be less than 5 seconds. - Before repeating this cycle allow the appliance to cool completely.
Fasten the whisk (12) to the whisk support (11) until you hear "click" [Fig H].
- Put the liquid ingredients (milk cream, egg white) in a big container.
- Fasten the whisk support (11) to the motor unit (3) by rotating anticlockwise [Fig I].
- Plug the power cord (4) into the mains socket.
- Set the on/off control to speed Ⓤ.
WHIPPING
- To whip cream or egg white, proceed as follows:
- Put the ingredients in a big container.
- Fasten the whisk support (11) to the motor unit (3) by rotating anticlockwise [Fig I].
- Plug the power cord (4) into the mains socket.
- Set the on/off control to speed ⏰.
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
Should any of the indicated problems occur, use the proposed solution:
