SAFETY WARNINGS
• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and check for any damage caused during transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the authorised service centre.
- Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic wrapping out of the reach of children; risk of suffocation!
- Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage data reported on the identification plate corresponds to that of the available electric mains. The identification plate is attached to the appliance.

- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, that is as a BLENDER for home use. Any other use is improper and potentially dangerous.
- The appliance may be used by children who are at least 8 years old, by persons with reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities or persons lacking experience only if they have received prior instructions concerning its safe use and if they are informed about the dangers associated with this product. Children may not play with the appliance. The appliance cannot be cleaned or serviced by children without adult supervision. Keep the appliance and power cord away from children under 8 when the appliance is on or cooling down.
- DO NOT use the appliance with damp or wet hands or feet.
- DO NOT pull the power cord or appliance to unplug the latter from the socket.
- DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.).
- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
- In case of a fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it off and do not tamper with it. If the appliance needs to be repaired, contact an authorised technical service centre.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
- NEVER submerge the appliance in water and never place it under running water.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by an external timer or through a separate remote control or similar systems.
- DO NOT use the appliance near a washbasin full of water. During use, the appliance must be placed in such a way that it cannot fall in the washbasin.
- DO NOT use near a hob. Pay attention that the cable does not come into contact with hot, incandescent surfaces, open flames, pots and other utensils.
• DO NOT touch moving parts. - DO NOT remove the blender's lid during operation.
- Failure to follow these instructions or misuse of the product lead to injuries.
- DO NOT pour hot liquids in a food processor/blender, to prevent generating an explosion caused by sudden vaporisation.
- Pay special attention when handling sharp blades when processed material is removed from the bowl for cleaning purposes.

CLEANING BEFORE FIRST USE
- Unpack the appliance.
- Wash the removable components: lid (1), jug (2), blades (3) gasket (4) by hand or in the dishwasher.
- In the dishwasher, make sure the maximum temperature of the water does not exceed 55^ C.
ASSEMBLY

ATTENTION!
- Do not use the appliance with no ingredients in it.
- Do not introduce more than 800 ml of ingredients.
• Always close the jug (2) with the lid (1) when the appliance is in operation. - Continuous operation must not exceed 3 minutes. Before repeating this cycle, let the appliance cool down for one minute.
- Do not leave any food inside the jug (2) beyond the time required for preparation.

Place the appliance on a flat and firm surface.
-
Place the gasket (4) onto the blade plate (3) [Fig. B].
- Insert the blades (3) inside the ring nut (5) [Fig. C].
- Turn the ring nut (5) clockwise onto the jug (2) [Fig D].
- Insert the jug (2) onto the motor unit (7) [Fig. E].
- Add the fruit or vegetables into the jug (2) with a high percentage of liquids.
- Close the jug (2) with the lid (1).
OPERATION
The on/off control (8) has the following two positions:
| 0 Appliance OFF. 2 High speed. | |||
| 1 | Low speed. | P | Pulse function to add volume to the processed contents. |
The LED (6) lights up in positions 1-2-P.
USE
Proceed as follows after having assembled the appliance:
- Insert the plug in the socket.

- Start the blender by setting the on/off control (8) to the desired position.
- If necessary, pour more liquid through the hole in the lid (1).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance after having used it.
Remove the plug from the socket.
Wash the removable components: lid (1), jug (2), blades (3) gasket (4), ring nut (5) by hand or in the dishwasher.
- In the dishwasher, make sure the maximum temperature of the water does not exceed 55^ C.
- Clean the motor casing (7) with a damp, well-wrung sponge.
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
Should one of the indicated problems occur, adopt the proposed solution:

| The ice has not been crushed properly. | Always crush ice in pulse mode with plenty of liquid. |
| Should the ice remain on top of the blades, turn the appliance off and use a spatula to mix the content again.Close the lid (1) and continue with pulse mode operation. | |
| There are lumps in the pesto. | Increase the amount of basil and oil. |
| Use the electrical grater to grate the Grana cheese separately and add it at the end. |
DISPOSAL

The packaging is made up of recyclable material. Dispose of it in compliance with the environmental protection standards.

The appliance must be disposed of properly, in accordance with the provisions of European standard 2002/96/EC. The recyclable materials contained in the appliance must be recovered so as to prevent environmental pollution. For further information, contact the local disposal body or the appliance dealer.

To request repairs or purchase spare parts, please contact IMETEC's authorised customer service centre on the Toll-Free Number below or via the website. The appliance is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
For details, read the attached warranty sheet. Failure to comply with the instructions for use and maintenance provided in this manual will render the manufacturer's warranty null and void.
