Frequently Asked Questions - ZH0030 Concept

How do I install the Concept ZH0030 water heater?
Installation should be performed by a qualified professional. Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the weight. Mount the unit using the provided brackets, connect to cold water supply, and wire the electrical connection according to local codes. Refer to the manual for detailed installation steps.
What is the energy efficiency class of this water heater?
The Concept ZH0030 typically has an energy efficiency class of B or C, depending on the model variant. It features thermal insulation to reduce heat loss and adjustable thermostat for optimal energy use.
How do I adjust the temperature on the ZH0030?
Locate the thermostat dial on the front panel. Turn it to your desired temperature, typically between 30°C and 75°C. For energy savings, a setting of 50°C is recommended to prevent scalding and reduce energy consumption.
How often should I descale my water heater?
Descaling is recommended every 12 months, especially in areas with hard water. Use a descaling solution suitable for electric water heaters. Follow the maintenance instructions in the manual to avoid damage.
What does the safety valve do?
The safety valve releases excess pressure to prevent tank rupture. It is a critical safety feature. Test it periodically by lifting the lever briefly; water should flow out. If it does not, contact a technician immediately.
Why is the water not heating?
Check the power supply and circuit breaker. The thermostat may be set too low, or the heating element could be faulty. Also inspect the reset button on the thermostat. If issues persist, consult the troubleshooting section of the manual.
How do I replace the anode rod?
The anode rod protects the tank from corrosion. To replace it, turn off power and water, drain the tank partially, then unscrew the old rod and install a new one. This should be done every 2-5 years depending on water quality.
Is there a risk of bacteria growth in the tank?
To prevent Legionella growth, set the thermostat to at least 60°C for one hour weekly. Regular use and maintaining high temperature reduce bacterial risks. Follow hygiene guidelines in the manual.
Can I use an extension cord for the electrical connection?
No, never use an extension cord for a water heater. The unit must be directly connected to a dedicated circuit. Using an extension cord can cause overheating and fire hazards due to high current draw.
What is the warranty period and what does it cover?
The Concept ZH0030 comes with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage from improper installation, lack of maintenance, or misuse. Keep your purchase receipt and register the product online for warranty service.

If the product is not returned (the customer does not withdraw from the contract), or if the customer does not apply the right to a new defect-free product (replacement), to replacement of a part thereof or to repair of the product, they may request a reasonable discount. The customer also has a right to a reasonable discount if a new defect-free product cannot be supplied to them, or if a product part cannot be replaced or the product repaired unless the situation is remedied within a reasonable time limit, or if remedying the situation would create major discomfort on the part of the customer.

The seller, authorised service centre or a staff member authorised by them must decide about each complaint immediately or within three business days in complicated cases. This term does not include a reasonable period of time, depending on the type of product concerned,

required for the defect to be assessed by an expert. A complaint, including defect removal, must be dealt with without any undue delay, yet no later than within 30 calendar days of the complaint filing date, unless the seller and the customer agree on a later deadline.
