Comment installer la caméra VIDEOCAM MESSENGER ?

Insérez le CD fourni, exécutez le programme d'installation (ou lancez D:\SETUP.EXE depuis le menu Démarrer). Installez d'abord le pilote, puis DirectX. Ensuite, branchez la caméra sur un port USB.

Que faire si l'écran d'installation ne s'affiche pas automatiquement ?

Dans l'interface du logiciel Genius VideoCAM, utilisez le mode Snapshot. Appuyez sur le bouton de capture situé à droite du cercle. Vous pouvez aussi envoyer la photo par e-mail ou activer la prise en continu.

Comment enregistrer une vidéo ?

Passer en mode Vidéo Clip. Appuyez sur le bouton Démarrer pour commencer l'enregistrement et sur Stop pour terminer. Vous pouvez convertir les fichiers AVI en MPEG-1.

Comment utiliser le système de surveillance ?

Activez le mode Security Monitoring System. Il enregistre automatiquement les mouvements détectés. S'il n'y a aucun mouvement, l'enregistrement s'arrête après 4 secondes. Vous pouvez régler la sensibilité et les sons d'alerte.

La caméra est-elle compatible avec Skype ?

La notice mentionne la compatibilité avec MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger et CUSeeMe. Skype n'est pas cité, mais la caméra devrait fonctionner comme une webcam standard avec les applications qui reconnaissent les périphériques vidéo USB.

Comment désinstaller le logiciel ?

1. Installing VideoCAM Messenger software

a. Insert the VideoCAM Messenger software CD into CD-ROM drive.
b. After few seconds, the setup screen will show the picture of VideoCAM Messenger. Click the "Utility Driver" then simply follow the on-screen instructions.
c. Please remember to install DirectX of the CD-ROM.

Notice:

If the setup screen doesn't show the picture of VideoCAM Messenger, please precede the following installation:

• Go to the taskbar and click Start then Execute.
• Type D:\SETUP.EXE, then click Enter key.

2. Connect the VideoCAM Messenger to your computer.

Connect the VideoCAM Messenger to the USB port as shown on the right drawing.

3. To get rid of driver installation, please go to the taskbar and follow "Start

Program VideoCAM Messenger VideoCAM Messenger Uninstall, then follow the on-screen instruction to remove the installation.

4. You can install the recognize software for video conferencing or chat with your friends.

You can use the snapshot button to capture still image or rotate the lens cover to adjust the focus.

5.4 Security Monitoring System

You can record any movements that appear in front of your monitor automatically. It can also record anytime until the HD is full. If there's no movement, it will shut down automatically after four seconds or until there is new movement. It's a great security monitoring system and you can set the software so it works at times when you're not around.

• Make sure to install the USB driver before connecting the device otherwise unable to install properly. If you encounter problems, uninstall the driver and software then follow the proper installation.

Using MSN Messenger as for Videoconferencing

• If you are using MSN Messenger included with Windows XP, please follow the procedure as below:
