Comment utiliser le thermomètre DOTORY ?

Appuyez sur le bouton Power/Mesure. L'écran s'allume et affiche la dernière mesure. Lorsque le symbole de prêt apparaît, placez la sonde sur le front, à plat et fermement. Appuyez sur le bouton et glissez lentement la sonde en ligne droite du centre du front vers la tempe pendant 3 à 5 secondes. Un bip retentit toutes les 0,5 seconde et la température s'affiche à la fin.

Comment mesurer la température derrière le lobe de l'oreille ?

Si le front est moite, il est possible de mesurer derrière le lobe de l'oreille. Écartez les cheveux, attendez environ 30 secondes, puis placez la sonde derrière le lobe en suivant la direction fléchée sur une distance de 1 à 2 cm pendant 3 à 5 secondes.

Comment nettoyer le thermomètre ?

Le capteur est très sensible. Nettoyez-le délicatement avec un coton-tige imbibé d'alcool. Laissez sécher au moins une heure avant utilisation. L'extérieur et la sonde peuvent être nettoyés avec un chiffon doux imbibé d'alcool ou d'eau. Ne trempez pas l'appareil dans l'eau.

Comment remplacer la pile ?

Lorsque le symbole de pile faible apparaît, retirez le compartiment à pile, tirez la languette de maintien dans le sens de la flèche, insérez une nouvelle pile CR2032 en respectant le sens indiqué (+ vers le haut) et refermez. Jetez la pile usagée dans un point de collecte approprié.

Que faire si le thermomètre affiche une erreur de système ?

Éteignez l'appareil et réallumez-le après une minute. Si l'erreur persiste, retirez la pile et remettez-la. Si le problème continue, contactez le service après-vente.

Comment basculer entre °C et °F ?

Ouvrez le compartiment à pile et appuyez sur le petit bouton pendant une seconde. L'unité de température change alors de °C à °F ou inversement.

Quelles sont les précautions de sécurité importantes ?

N'utilisez pas l'appareil sur des cicatrices ou des plaies ouvertes. Ne l'exposez pas à la lumière directe du soleil, à la poussière ou à des substances contaminantes. Rangez-le à température ambiante. En cas de non-utilisation prolongée, retirez la pile pour éviter les fuites.

Pourquoi le thermomètre ne mesure-t-il pas correctement ?

Assurez-vous que la température ambiante est comprise entre 10 °C et 40 °C. Si l'objet est trop chaud (>42,2 °C) ou trop froid (<20 °C), la mesure n'est pas possible. Vérifiez également que le capteur est propre et que la sonde est bien en contact avec la peau.

Le thermomètre est-il adapté aux bébés ?

Oui, mais il faut respecter scrupuleusement les consignes de sécurité. Ne l'utilisez pas sur un nourrisson sans avoir lu le manuel. La mesure derrière le lobe peut être plus fiable si le front est moite.

Que faire si l'écran affiche une température trop élevée ou trop basse ?

Vérifiez que l'objet mesuré se trouve dans la plage de mesure (20 à 42,2 °C). Si ce n'est pas le cas, la mesure n'est pas possible. Pour un environnement extrême, placez d'abord l'appareil à température ambiante pendant 30 minutes.

• Use this product only for its intended purpose as described in this manual and read through the manual before initial use.
• The measurement by this product does not represent doctor's medical examination.
• Consult with doctors if any abnormality of found.
• Don't take temperature over scar tissue or opened sores.
• Must follow the safety instructions when used on an infant or neonate.
• Follow the cleaning instructions as described in this manual.
• Do not use this product if it is not working properly and ask to your service personnel.
• If this product will not be used regularly, remove the battery to prevent chemical leakage. If the battery leaks, never let bare skin touch leaking fluid and remove carefully.
• Dispose of used battery properly. Do not wrap it in metal or aluminum foil. Wrap it in newspaper before disposing it. Do not burn it. Battery may explode if overheated.

• Examine the product periodically.

• Press the Power/Measure button.

• The LCD is activated showing all symbols. Then latest measurement value is displayed for a second.
• When the ready symbol is displayed, thermometer is ready to measure.
• Place the probe on the forehead and flat to the skin firmly. Depress the measure button throughout measurement.
• Slowly slide the probe midline across the forehead to the hairline keeping the instrument flat and contact with skin. You should scan the forehead slowly, just like wiping the skin for 3~5 seconds. Measurement should be started from center of the forehead, paralleling probe to the eyebrows, to temporal side, not down the side of the face. The probe and the forehead should be at right angle to each other.
• You will hear beep sounds per 0.5 second throughout the measurement. The total measurement time takes 3 5 seconds. Then read the temperature on display.

Note:

If there is perspiration on the forehead, take the temperature behind the ear lobe. Normally the artery behind the ear lobe does not provide a sufficiently accurate reading. However, in case of the falling of the temperature of skin due to sweating, taking the temperature behind the ear lobe may give a better result. Brush hair aside if covering the ear and waits about 30 seconds for more accurate measurement. Then gently nestle the DOTORY on neck directly behind ear lobe and scan through the arrow direction about 1 2cm (0.4 0.8 inch) as illustrated for 3-5 seconds.

• Sensor in front of the probe is extremely sensitive part. For accurate measurement, always keep it clean and not damaged.
• Place the sensor facing the below to prevent any liquid dropped on the sensor. Carefully clean the sensor using cotton-stick with alcohol. After cleaning, allow at least one hour drying time for measurement.
• The outside and probe of product should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened in alcohol or water.
• Do not give excessive power upon the probe.
• Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
• Keep the product away from straight sunlight, dust and contaminating substance.
• Keep the product in normal room temperature. The operating ambient temperature range for this thermometer is 10^ ( 50^ ) to 40^ ( 104^ )
• When placing the product out of the normal room temperature, use the product after keeping the product in normal room temperature for 30 minutes.

One lithium battery is installed in a product when produced. When 1 is displayed on LCD, replace the battery through following steps. Pull the battery compartment and pull the pin holding the battery in arrow direction. Place the new battery in shown " ^+ " mark. Close the battery compartment. Recycle the used battery to prevent pollution.
