Comment installer le commutateur Sweex SW008 ?

Branchez l'adaptateur secteur sur le côté du commutateur. Connectez vos PC ou autres équipements réseau à un port libre à l'arrière à l'aide d'un câble UTP/RJ45. Le voyant POWER s'allume en rouge et les voyants LINK/ACT s'allument en vert pour chaque connexion active.

Que faire si le voyant POWER ne s'allume pas ?

Vérifiez que l'adaptateur secteur est correctement branché et que la prise murale fonctionne. Si le problème persiste, contactez votre revendeur.

Le commutateur est-il compatible avec mon ordinateur ?

Oui, le SW008 est compatible avec tout équipement réseau disposant d'un port Ethernet 10/100 Mbps. Il n'est pas dépendant du système d'exploitation.

Comment savoir si un port fonctionne ?

Le voyant LINK/ACT correspondant à chaque port est allumé en vert lorsque la connexion est établie. Il clignote lorsque des données sont transmises.

Puis-je utiliser un câble différent du câble UTP/RJ45 ?

Non, seuls les câbles UTP/RJ45 sont supportés pour les connexions réseau. Utilisez des câbles de catégorie 5 ou supérieure.

Quelle est la température de fonctionnement ?

Le commutateur fonctionne entre 0 °C et 50 °C. Évitez de le placer dans un environnement trop chaud ou trop froid.

Comment brancher plusieurs commutateurs entre eux ?

Utilisez un câble UTP/RJ45 pour relier un port libre d'un commutateur à un port libre de l'autre. La fonction Uplink est intégrée à chaque port, aucun câble croisé n'est nécessaire.

Le commutateur nécessite-t-il un pilote ?

Non, le SW008 est indépendant du système d'exploitation et ne nécessite aucun pilote. Il suffit de le brancher pour qu'il fonctionne.

Prior to installation, check if all required parts are present. The following parts must be present in the box:

Installation of hardware

Connect the power supply adaptor to the side of the switch. Connect PCs or other network equipment that you wish to incorporate in the network to a free port at the back of the switch. Use a UTP/RJ45 network cable for this.

The front or top of the switch has a number of LEDs which indicate the status of the switch. These LEDs have the following functions:
