Comment installer l'onduleur SWEEX PP061 ?

Éteignez l'ordinateur, connectez l'alimentation de l'ordinateur à la sortie de l'onduleur, branchez l'onduleur sur une prise secteur, allumez l'onduleur avec le bouton Marche/Arrêt, puis rallumez l'ordinateur. Branchez le câble USB seulement après avoir installé le logiciel.

Que signifient les voyants LED de l'onduleur ?

Le voyant bleu indique que la tension secteur est normale. Le voyant orange signifie que l'onduleur est en charge. Le voyant rouge indique une panne de courant : l'onduleur alimente alors les appareils connectés.

Comment installer le logiciel de gestion PowerManagerLite ?

Insérez le CD-ROM SWEEX dans le lecteur, cliquez sur 'Drivers and Software', puis 'Next'. Saisissez votre nom et un nom d'entreprise (obligatoire) et le numéro de série figurant sur le boîtier du CD. Suivez les instructions. Une fois le logiciel installé, connectez le câble USB entre l'ordinateur et l'onduleur.

Combien de temps faut-il pour charger complètement l'onduleur ?

La première charge complète dure 8 heures. L'onduleur se recharge dès qu'il est branché sur secteur, même éteint, tant que le voyant orange est allumé.

Quelle est l'autonomie de l'onduleur en cas de panne de courant ?

L'autonomie dépend de la charge connectée. Plus la charge est élevée, plus l'autonomie est réduite. Le logiciel PowerManagerLite permet de configurer des alertes et l'arrêt automatique de l'ordinateur.

L'onduleur peut-il protéger des appareils autres qu'un ordinateur ?

L'onduleur est conçu pour les systèmes informatiques. La connexion d'autres appareils électroniques est déconseillée et se fait aux risques de l'utilisateur.

Que faire en cas de panne de courant prolongée ?

Le logiciel PowerManagerLite peut être configuré pour arrêter automatiquement l'ordinateur après un certain temps. Sauvegardez vos travaux régulièrement.

Comment nettoyer et entretenir l'onduleur ?

Utilisez un chiffon sec et doux pour nettoyer l'extérieur. Ne pas utiliser de produits liquides ou abrasifs. Évitez l'exposition à la poussière, à l'humidité et aux températures extrêmes.

Puis-je remplacer la batterie de l'onduleur ?

La batterie interne est généralement remplaçable par un technicien qualifié. Contactez le service après-vente SWEEX pour obtenir des pièces de rechange. N'ouvrez jamais l'appareil vous-même, cela annule la garantie.

Comment configurer l'arrêt automatique de l'ordinateur avec PowerManagerLite ?

Double-cliquez sur l'icône PowerManagerLite dans la barre des tâches (en bas à droite). Dans la fenêtre principale, cliquez sur l'icône de configuration (engrenage). Vous pouvez définir un délai avant l'arrêt. Consultez le manuel anglais sur le CD pour plus de détails.

PP061 Sweex Manageable UPS 600VA USB 2.0 with LED status

Introduction

• Do not expose the Sweex Manageable UPS to extreme temperatures. Do not place the device in direct sun light or close to heating elements.
• Do not use the Sweex Manageable UPS in extremely dusty or moist environments.
• Prevent hard shocks or impacts of the device, as this can cause damage to the internal electronics.
• Never try to open the device yourself, this voids the warranty.

Hardware Installation

1. Make sure that the computer you are going to connect to the UPS is turned off.
2. Connect the power supply of the computer with the power output of the Sweex Manageable UPS
3. Put the plug of the UPS in the plug socket
4. Turn on the UPS by pressing the On/Off button on the device.
5. Turn the PC back on.

Pay attention:

• Connect the USB cable after the software is installed.
• The Sweeex Manageable UPS is designed to secure computer systems. Connecting other electronic devices is not recommended and entirely at your own risk.
• The UPS has to be charged for eight hours to be able to supply the entire back-up capacity.
• The amount of time the Sweex Manageable UPS can supply power to the connected devices after a power failure is always dependant on the load connected to the UPS.

LED's and Buttons

There are 3 LED's on the front side of the Sweeex Manageable UPS and one button.

1. Blue LED indicates that the mains voltage is OK.
2. Orange LED indicates that the UPS is charging.
3. Red LED indicates that there is a power failure. The UPS will now supply power to all connected devices.
4. On/Off button.

Software installation

1. Place the Sweex CD-ROM in the CD-ROM tray. A menu will appear automatically. Click "Drivers and Software".

Drivers and Software

The installation procedure will be started.

1. In the first window click "Next".
2. Enter your details:

1. Enter your name or computer name. At "Company Name" enter any name. You must not leave this empty.
2. At "Serial Number" enter the code found on the case of the Sweex CD-ROM. Use capitals and stripes when needed as indicated.
3. Click "Next" and follow the steps to complete the installation.
4. After installing the software connect the USB cable from the computer to the Sweex Manageable UPS. Windows will automatically install the UPS.

Charging the Sweex Manageable UPS

The UPS is being charged from the moment it is plugged in the plug socket. The orange LED will light up. The UPS is also charging up when it is turned on with the button.

Configuring the Sweex Manageable UPS

By using the PowerManagerLite you can configure the UPS. At the bottom right of your screen you will find the PowerManagerLite icon, use this to start the manager..

Double click the icon with your left mouse button or right click it and choose "Start Monitor(W)...".

The main screen of the PowerManagerLite appears.

Click the icons to configure the UPS.
