The flashing blue light on the KEOR MULTIPLUG 800VA indicates that the UPS is operating on battery. Its flashing frequency informs you of the charge status:

Flashing every 3 seconds - The battery has a charge between 40% and 100% (normal situation during a power outage)
Flashing every 2 seconds - The battery has dropped below 20% charge. The inverter also emits a beep every 2 seconds to alert you

If you see a red light instead, it indicates an overload in normal mode or an inverter error - refer to the diagnostic section of your manual for more details.

During startup, the blue and red lights illuminate together for 3 seconds with a corresponding sound signal, this is normal behavior.

My inverter suddenly turns off without switching to battery mode - how can I resolve this issue?

This symptom generally indicates that the device is unable to maintain the mains power. Here’s how to diagnose and resolve the issue:

1. Check and replace the fuse

This is the most common cause of sudden shutdown. Your inverter uses a T5AL250V fuse located in the compartment near the power input.

Unplug the device
Locate and inspect the fuse
If the filament is broken, replace it with an identical T5AL250V fuse
Plug it back in and test

2. Check the mains voltage

The inverter operates correctly between 170 V and 280 V. If your mains voltage is outside this range, the device will shut down immediately instead of switching to battery.

Use a multimeter to measure the voltage at your outlet
Test the inverter on another outlet or electrical circuit
If the voltage is unstable or incorrect, contact your electricity supplier

3. Check the red LED indicator

If the red light is steadily on during shutdown, this indicates an internal error. In this case, the inverter cannot operate correctly and requires repair or replacement.

4. Check for overload

If your load exceeds 120% of the rated power (600 VA), the inverter will shut down after 5 seconds without switching to battery. Reduce the connected load and restart the device.
