First, place the juice cup under the spout. Then, attach the pulp container to the main body. Insert the filter basket and lock it into place. Finally, close the lid until it clicks securely.
Can I use the pulse function for harder ingredients?
Yes, the pulse function is ideal for harder fruits and vegetables like apples or carrots. It provides short bursts of power for better control.
How do I clean the juicer?
Unplug the unit and disassemble all removable parts. Rinse them under warm water immediately after use to prevent staining. Most parts are dishwasher safe. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
What is the maximum continuous operation time?
Do not operate the juicer for more than 2 minutes continuously. Allow it to cool down for 2 minutes before using again.
Is the IM-5180 suitable for juicing leafy greens?
Yes, but for best results, use the high speed setting and alternate with harder vegetables to push the greens through the chute.
What safety features does the juicer have?
The juicer includes a safety lock that prevents operation unless the lid is properly closed. It also has overload protection and non-slip feet for stability.
Can I juice frozen fruits?
No, do not use frozen or very hard ingredients like ice cubes. They can damage the blade and motor. Thaw fruits before juicing.
How do I store the juicer?
Wrap the cord around the cord storage at the base. Keep the unit upright in a dry place. Avoid storing with assembled parts to prevent warping.
What is covered under the warranty?
The 1-year limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear, misuse, or commercial use.
Why is the juicer not turning on?
Ensure the safety lock is engaged and the lid is closed properly. Check that the power cord is plugged into a working outlet. If it still doesn't work, contact customer support.
