USER MANUAL IM-5180 Imarflex
- This unit is designed with a built-in safety system. If the Cover (4) or Latches (9) are not properly secured, this unit will not function.
- Make sure that the Dual Speed Control (8) is in "0" position before plugging the unit into the convenience outlet outlet.
- Wash and cut the fruits/vegetables into pieces and remove the seeds if necessary. Put the fruits/vegetables on the Fruit Tray (3).
- Turn The Dual Speed Control (8) to desired speed.
- Put the fruits/vegetables on the Chute (2) one by one and push down the fruits / vegetables using the Food Pusher (1).
TIPS: Use speed number 1 for soft fruits like pears, grapes, tomatoes etc. Use speed number 2 for hard fruits/vegetables such as apples, carrots etc.
- Turn OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet after every use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
It is important to thoroughly clean the unit after each use to avoid the build-up of food residue.
- Detachable parts can be washed using soap and water.
- Use a nylon brush to clean the blade and filter assembly, just be careful with the blade.
- Wipe the base of the unit with damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Before using the juice extractor, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
- Do not use two-way socket with other appliance.
- Do not use the juice extractor if the cord or plug is damaged, it must be replace with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarflex Authorized Service Center.
- Do not place the juice extractor near gas stove or electric stove.
- Put the juice extractor on flat surface. Keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is not intended to use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the base in water.
- Always be sure that the juice extractor cover is securely clamped in place before operating the unit. Do not unfasten clamps while the unit is in operation.
- Always use the food pusher to feed into the chute – never feed food by hand alone. If food becomes lodged in the chute, use the food pusher to push it down. If this method is not possible, turn the motor off and unplug before disassembling to remove remaining food.
- Filter/Cutter Assembly is sharp, handle it with care.
- After use, switch OFF. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet. Make sure the motor stops completely before disassembling.
- Do not use the juice extractor for outdoor use.
- Do not use the juice extractor other than its intended use.
- For household use only; not intended for any business purposes.
- Save this instruction manual for future reference.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
- For initial use, wash detachable parts thoroughly.
- Place the Juice and Pulp Separator (11) on the Motor Base (13).
- Place the Filter/Cutter Assembly (5) on the Juice and Pulp Separator (11); make sure that it is properly fitted.
- Place the Pulp Container (7) in the lower hinge of the unit.
- Mount the Cover (4) on the Juice and Pulp Separator (11), so that the bottom of the Chute (2) fits inside the Filter/Cutter Assembly (5). Make sure that the Cover (4) is fitted in the Juice and Pulp Separator (11) and fasten both Latches (9).
- Place the Juice Container (10) under the Juice Outlet.
