Frequently Asked Questions - ISJ-1000 Imarflex

How do I assemble the Imarflex ISJ-1000 juicer?
Place the motor base on a flat surface. Insert the strainer basket into the housing, then attach the pulp container. Lock the arm into place. Attach the feed chute and place the juice jug under the spout. Ensure all parts are securely locked before use.
Can I juice leafy greens like spinach or wheatgrass?
Yes, the ISJ-1000 can handle leafy greens. For best results, roll leaves into a tight bundle before feeding. Use the pusher to gently guide them through the chute.
How do I clean the juicer after use?
Unplug the juicer. Disassemble all removable parts (jug, pulp container, strainer, lid). Rinse immediately under running water. Most parts are dishwasher safe (top rack). Use the included cleaning brush for the strainer. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
What is the maximum operating time?
The ISJ-1000 can run continuously for up to 2 minutes. After that, allow it to cool for at least 1 minute before resuming. This prevents motor overheating.
Why is the juicer vibrating excessively?
Excessive vibration usually indicates an unbalanced load or that the strainer is not correctly seated. Ensure the strainer is properly locked and that you are not overloading the feed chute. Also check that the non-slip feet are clean and on a level surface.
Can I juice frozen fruits?
No, frozen fruits should not be juiced directly as they can damage the strainer. Thaw frozen fruits completely before juicing. Alternatively, use them in a blender.
Is the pulp container adjustable?
No, the pulp container is fixed in size. When it becomes full, you can stop and empty it during large juicing sessions. Some models allow you to divert pulp to a separate container (check your manual).
What safety features does the juicer have?
The ISJ-1000 includes a safety lock arm that prevents operation if not properly closed, non-slip feet for stability, and overload protection that shuts off the motor if it gets too hot.
How do I store the juicer?
Clean and dry all parts thoroughly. Reassemble the juicer or store parts separately. Keep the cord wrapped around the base or in a cord storage compartment. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
Where can I find replacement parts?
Replacement parts such as the juice jug, pulp container, and strainer basket can be ordered from Imarflex service centers or authorized dealers. Visit the Imarflex website or contact customer support for specific part numbers.

HOW TO USE

  1. Assemble the unit properly. (Kindly refer to Assemble Instruction). Note: Unit will not work, if not properly installed.
  2. Three settings of Torque Juicer

"ON" Starts motor/makes juice

"REV" Reverses motor and is to be used only when food is stuck

"OFF" stops motor/turns off the unit

  1. Putting the food into the Torque Juicer:

Wash the fruits/vegetables and remove the skin and seeds:

  • If using fruit with hard or inedible skins such as mangoes, melons or pineapple, always peel before juicing
  • Fruit can be juiced. Simply remove the skin and seeds
  • All fruits with pits, hard seeds or stones from nectarines, peaches, mangoes, apricots, plums and cherries must be removed before juicing
  • Be sure to cut the fruit or vegetable into pieces, no larger than 2 inches for optimal extraction, and remove any large hard seeds.
  • Turning "ON" the Torque Juicer, drop the fruit or vegetable into the feeding tube. Do not push, force, or overstuff. Use the provided pusher in the unit to use when the food becomes stuck. Insert the fruit or vegetable at a slow pace, allowing all the pulp to extract.
