Can I juice whole apples with the IJE-3000?

1. Make sure that the appliance is in OFF position before plugging in the convenience outlet.

2. Assemble the Juicer (See How to Assemble)

3. Wash the fruits/vegetables and remove the skin and seeds:

4. If using fruit with hard or inedible skins such as mangoes, melons or pineapple, always peel before juicing

5. Citrus fruit can be juiced. Simply remove the skin and seeds

6. All fruits with pits, hard seeds or stones from nectarines, peaches, mangoes, apricots, plums and cherries must be removed before juicing

7. Put a cup or container under the Juice Spout.

8. Select the desired speed by turning the speed selector.

• Speed 1 – Function is for juicing soft vegetables, soft fruits or any light mixture
- Speed 2 – Function is for juicing hard vegetables and hard fruits

1. Juice will flow into the cup or container through the juice spout and the separated pulp will accumulate in the pulp container. Always watch the level of juice in the cup or container. Do not overfill, as juice will continue to drip from the cup or container after you have stopped juicing. Switch OFF the unit and allow the drippings to stop before removing the cup or container.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

It is important to thoroughly clean the unit after each use to avoid the buildup of food residue.

1. Make sure to switch off and unplug the unit before moving or cleaning the appliance.
2. Detachable parts can be washed using soap and water.
3. For consistent juicing results always ensure that the filter and blade is thoroughly cleaned. Using a nylon brush, hold the filter and blade under running water and brush from the inside to outer rim. If the holes are blocked, soak the filter and blade in hot water with 10% lemon juice to loosen the blocked holes.
4. Some vegetables such as carrot may cause discoloration of the plastic, to avoid discoloration wash thoroughly after use.
5. Dry all parts thoroughly, then assemble the juice extractor and turn the power ON to spin out any excess water in the Filter/Blade Assembly.
6. Wipe the base of the unit with damp cloth.
7. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches. Note: Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE:

IMPORTANT: Your juicer parts are subject to wear during normal use. Always inspect the unit and parts for nicks, chips or cracks. Always inspect for broken, cracked or loose parts. Do not use the unit if damage. Contact the Imarflex Authorized Service Center to obtain evaluation and repair.

1. For initial use, wash detachable parts thoroughly.
2. Place the Filter/Blade Holder on the Motor Base.
3. Place the Filter on the Filter/Blade Holder.
4. Put the Blade on the Filter Basket.
5. Mount the Cover on the Filter/Blade Holder. Make sure that the Cover is fitted on the Filter/Blade Holder and pull up the handle until it locks.
6. Put the Pulp Container in the lower hinge of the unit.
7. Place the juice container in front of the spout.
