Frequently Asked Questions - MX-EG5311 PANASONIC

How do I clean the blender jar?
Rinse immediately after use. Fill jar with warm water and a drop of dish soap, run on Pulse for 30 seconds, then rinse thoroughly. The jar and lid are dishwasher safe on the top rack.
Can I crush ice in this blender?
Yes, the stainless steel blades and high power motor can crush ice. Add ice cubes, use Pulse or a high speed setting, and add liquid for best results.
What is the maximum capacity for blending hot liquids?
Do not blend hot liquids above 60°C. Always allow liquids to cool before blending. The glass jar can handle mild heat but may crack from sudden temperature changes.
Why does the blender stop during use?
The blender has overheating protection. If the motor gets too hot, it shuts off automatically. Unplug, wait 15 minutes, then resume. Also ensure the jar is properly locked in place.
Is the blender suitable for making smoothies and soups?
Yes, the multiple speed settings and pulse function allow you to make smoothies, purees, and cold soups. For hot soups, blend cooled ingredients and reheat separately.
How do I replace the blades?
Blade replacement should be done by an authorized Panasonic service center. Do not attempt to disassemble the blade base yourself, as it is sealed for safety.
Can I blend dry ingredients like grains?
The blender is not designed for dry grinding. For grains or nuts, use a dedicated grinder. Blending dry ingredients may damage the blades or motor.
What should I do if the lid leaks?
Ensure the lid is aligned correctly and pressed down firmly. The sealing gasket may be displaced. Clean the gasket and lid rim, then reattach. If leaks persist, contact support.
Does this blender have a warranty?
Yes, the Panasonic MX-EG5311 comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep your purchase receipt for warranty claims.
What is the noise level of this blender?
The blender operates at up to 85 dB, which is typical for a high-power blender. Use on a stable surface to reduce vibration noise.
