Why doesn't my soundbar turn on?
Check that the power cord is properly plugged into the wall outlet. If the problem persists, unplug the plug and plug it back in after a few seconds.
No sound comes out of the soundbar. What should I do?
Make sure the unit is properly connected to the TV (optical or analog cable). Check that the Mute function is not activated and that the volume is not set to minimum.
The remote control is not working. How to solve this problem?
Replace the batteries (AAA type) respecting polarity. Make sure the distance between the remote and the unit does not exceed 7 meters and there is no obstacle.
How to connect the wireless subwoofer to the soundbar?
The subwoofer is pre-paired at the factory. If the connection does not establish, press the ID SET button on the back of the subwoofer for 5 seconds, then press the MUTE button on the remote for 5 seconds when the unit is in standby.
How to change the sound mode?
Press the SOUND MODE button on the remote or the SOUND MODE button on the front panel to cycle through modes: MUSIC, NEWS, DRAMA, CINEMA, SPORTS, GAME, PASS (Original Sound).
What does the 3D Sound function do?
The 3D Depth Sound function adds depth and space to the sound. Press the 3D SOUND button on the remote to activate or deactivate it. Note that the sound mode automatically switches to PASS when it is activated.
Can I use my iPod/iPhone with this soundbar?
Yes, via the optional wireless dock HT-WDC10 (sold separately). Connect the wireless transmitter to the main unit and select the W iPod mode with the INPUT SELECT button.
How to mount the soundbar on the wall?
Use the provided wall mount. Fix the mount to the wall with suitable screws (not supplied), then hang the unit in the slots. Leave at least 5 cm of space between the soundbar and the TV.
How to update the firmware?
Download the update from Samsung.com, copy it to a USB drive formatted as FAT16. Insert the drive into the USB port on the back of the main unit. The unit will turn off automatically at the end of the update.
What is the Auto Power Link function for?
The Auto Power Link function automatically turns on the soundbar when you turn on the TV connected via the optical cable. Press the AUTO POWER button on the remote to activate or deactivate it.
