SAFETY WARNINGS
• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and any presence of damage caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.
- Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children - risk of suffocation!

- Before connecting the appliance, please make sure that the voltage indicated on the identification plate corresponds to that of the mains voltage. The identification plate is found on the appliance.
- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a vacuum cleaner for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant and therefore dangerous.
- The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or with no experience or knowledge, unless supervised by a person responsible for their safety or after having received instructions regarding its use.
Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
DO NOT use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum:
- burning ashes, cigarette butts, etc.;
- liquids, such as carpet cleaners;
- sharp or hard objects, such as nails or large glass shards;
- fine powder, such as cement;
- toner powder (for laser printers, copy machines, etc.).

DO NOT use the vacuum cleaner without inserting the dust bag, dust container of filter.
DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or barefoot.
DO NOT pull the power cable or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.
DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.).
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
• If the appliance if faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do not tamper with it.
• Any repairs must only be carried out by an authorised technical service centre.
- If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
DO NOT pull or lift the vacuum cleaner by its cable.
DO NOT place the appliance in water or other liquids.
DO NOT direct the flexible hose, wand or any other attachment towards eyes or ears and do not put them in your mouth when they are connected to the vacuum cleaner in operation.

- Always use the appliance with a motor protection filter to prevent damaging the motor and the vacuum cleaner.
- The power cable must always be fully unwound to prevent hazardous overheating.

ASSEMBLY
- Loosen the fastening screws (3) of the handle (1) and remove it.
- Attach the handle (1) to the body of the appliance, taking care to assemble it correctly.
- Insert the fastening screw (3) and tighten it clockwise [Fig. B1].
- Select the combination brush (6) or the attachment (5) suited to the surface to be cleaned and connect the vacuum attachment (7).

ACCESSORIES
Combination carpet/floor brush (6)
Adjust the combination brush according to the type of flooring, using the toggle switch (6A) [Fig. C1]:
- toggle switch (6A) position A (extended bristles): for hard floors [Fig. C1-A]
- toggle switch (6A) position B (retracted bristles): for rugs and carpets [Fig. C1-B]
Your appliance is equipped with the following attachments:
- Crevice tool (5A): to clean corners and crevices, such as radiators, skirting boards and blinds;
• Upholstery tool (5B): to clean sofas, armchairs, upholstered chairs and curtains;
• Parquet brush (5C): special brush to clean parquet floors.
USE
Fully unwind the power cable (4). To this end, turn the upper cable hook (2A) downwards [FIG. D1].

Using the vacuum cleaner with the cable fully or partly wound involves an overheating hazard!
NOTE:
- Bear in mind that a new appliance can develop odours the first few times it is used. These odours are harmless and disappear shortly afterwards. Ventilate the room.
- With use, transparent parts can become opaque.
Insert the plug into the socket, holding the appliance by the handle to prevent it from falling in the event that it was not stored in OFF position.
Press the ON/OFF button (11) once to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off ① [Fig. E1]:
The electronic power control (10) allows adjusting the suction force [Fig. E2]:
Minimum: for curtains, fine and delicate fabrics
Medium: ideal for cleaning sofas, armchairs, upholstered chairs, rugs and carpets
Maximum: for smooth floors.
Switch the appliance off after use, by pressing the ON-OFF button (11) ① and disconnect the plug from the socket.
Wind the power cable (4) around the two hooks (2A and 2B) [FIG. D1] and fasten the plug to the cable using the rubber clamp on the plug.

MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT!
Turn the appliance off and unplug it from the socket before opening the dust collection system!
Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance!
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
When necessary, clean the appliance with a damp cloth.

IMPORTANT!
DO NOT USE SOLVENTS OR OTHER AGGRESSIVE OR ABRASIVE DETERGENTS. THIS CAN DAMAGE THE SURFACE.
CLEANING THE COMBINATION BRUSH (6)
With the motor on and the bristles in position (A) 🐘 (extended bristles), rub the lower part of the brush with your hand to remove dust and fluff that will be directly vacuumed.
CLEANING THE DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM (8):

IMPORTANT! Empty the dust compartment (8A) and clean the filtering system (8A, 8B, 8C) after every use.
Do not fill the compartment above the MAX level (8D).
Clean the dust collection system following the instructions below and paying attention to the figures in the illustrative guide.
Cleaning the dust container (8A)
- Pull the dust compartment lever (9) [FIG. F1] and remove the dust collection system (8) from the appliance [FIG. F2].
- Remove the filtering system (8B+8C) [FIG F3].
• Empty the dust compartment (8A) [FIG. F4]. - When necessary, rinse the dust compartment (8A) and let it dry completely.
- Reinstall the filtering system (8B+8C) in the dust compartment (8A) [FIG F3].
• Fit the dust collection system (8), inserting the lower part into its guide [FIG. F2]. - Press the upper part of the dust compartment cover until it snaps into place, which indicates that the dust compartment lever is properly locked (9).
NOTE:
A safety device prevents closing the dust compartment (8A) if the filtering system (8B+8C) is missing or not installed properly.

Cleaning the filtering system (8B+8C):
- Pull the dust compartment lever (9) [FIG. F1] and remove the dust collection system (8) from the appliance [FIG. F2].
- Remove the filtering system (8B+8C) [FIG F3].
- Detach the filter grille (8B) turning it clockwise and remove it [FIG. F5].
- Clean the filter (8C) and filter grille (8B) shaking and brushing the dust off with care. Use a soft brush to prevent any damage.
- If the filter (8C) is clogged by dust, wash it thoroughly with water. Take care not to damage the filter and let it dry completely.

IMPORTANT!
Let the filter dry for at least 24 hours after washing it. Do not reinstall the filter if it is damp!
- Insert the filter grille (8B) on the filter (8C), aligning the two arrows and fasten it by turning it anticlockwise [FIG. F5].
• Reinstall the filtering system (8B+8C) in the dust compartment (8A).
• Fit the dust collection system (8), inserting the lower part into its guide [FIG. F2]. - Press the upper part of the dust compartment cover until it snaps into place, which indicates that the dust compartment lever is properly locked (9).
If suction has not increased after cleaning the dust compartment (8A) and filtering system (8B+8C), change the filter (8C).
Replacing the filter (8C):
NOTE:
- Replace the filter in the event it is damaged or impossible to clean.
- Replace the filter at least once a year.

Failure to clean or replace the filter will make the manufacturer's warranty null and void.

Pull the dust compartment lever (9) [FIG. F1] and remove the dust collection system (8) from the appliance [FIG. F2].
- Remove the filtering system (8B+8C) [FIG F3].
• Turn the filter grille (8B) clockwise and remove it [FIG. F5]. - Replace the filter (8C) with a new one [FIG. F6].
- Insert the filter grille (8B) on the filter (8C), aligning the two arrows and fasten it by turning it anticlockwise [FIG. F5].
- Reinstall the filtering system (8B+8C) in the dust compartment (8A) [FIG F3].
• Fit the dust collection system (8), inserting the lower part into its guide [FIG. F2]. - Press the upper part of the dust compartment cover until it snaps into place, which indicates that the dust compartment lever is properly locked (9).

STORING AND CARING FOR THE PRODUCT
The appliance can be stored in vertical position with the combination brush (6) attached [FIG. G1].
Attach the combination brush (6) with the bristles in position B (resected bristles) to prevent any damage.
TROUBLESHOOTING

| The appliance does not turn on. | · Ensure that the plug is connected to the socket. Ensure that the ON/OFF button (11) has been pressed. |
| The appliance turns off during use and does not turn on again. | · The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a protective motor thermostat that shuts off the appliance in the event of overheating! (caused by passageway obstruction or clogged dust collection system). In the event of its activation, press the ON/OFF button (11) to turn the appliance off and let it cool down for a few hours. Remove any dust or obstructing objects before restarting the appliance. |
| The vacuum cleaner does not suction well. | · Electronic power control set to the minimum: Increase power to Medium or Max.· The dust collection system is full: empty the dust compartment.· The filter is clogged clean or replace the filter.· The filter is not fastened properly: ensure that the filter is installed properly. |
| The dust collection system is not installed correctly on the appliance. | · A safety device prevents closing the dust compartment if the filtering system is missing: ensure that the filtering system is correctly inserted inside the dust compartment. |

DISPOSAL

The packaging is made up of recyclable material. Dispose of it in compliance with the environmental protection standards.

The appliance must be disposed of in compliance with EU standard 2002/96/EC. The recyclable materials contained in the appliance must be collected to prevent environmental pollution. For further information contact the local waste authority or the appliance retailer.
