Frequently Asked Questions - Piuma Next Cyclonic IMETEC

How do I empty the dust container?
Press the release button on the dust container and pull it out. Hold it over a trash bin and press the bottom lid release to empty. For thorough cleaning, wash the container with water and let it dry completely before reattaching.
How often should I clean the filter?
It is recommended to clean the washable HEPA filter at least once a month. More frequent cleaning may be needed if you vacuum fine dust or pet hair. Allow the filter to dry for 24 hours before reinserting.
Can I use the vacuum without the filter?
No, never use the vacuum without the filter. Operating without the filter can damage the motor and release dust into the air. Always ensure the filter is properly installed and clean.
What should I do if suction power decreases?
First, check if the dust container is full and empty it if needed. Then, inspect the filter for clogs and clean it. Also, check the hose and nozzle for blockages. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
Can the vacuum pick up liquids?
No, the Piuma Next Cyclonic is designed for dry vacuuming only. Vacuuming liquids can damage the motor and create electrical hazards. Use a wet/dry vacuum for liquids.
How do I maintain the brush roller?
Regularly check the brush roller for tangled hair or threads. Use scissors to carefully cut and remove any debris. If the brush roller is removable, clean it with a damp cloth and let it dry before reinstalling.
What accessories come with the vacuum?
The vacuum includes a crevice tool for tight spaces and a brush tool for dusting delicate surfaces. Additional accessories may be purchased separately.
How long is the power cord?
The power cord is approximately 5 meters long. For larger rooms, you may need to use an extension cord or plug into a different outlet.
Is the vacuum bagless?
Yes, the Imetec Piuma Next Cyclonic is a bagless vacuum cleaner. It uses cyclonic technology to separate dirt from air, and you simply empty the dust container when full.
How do I store the vacuum?
Wrap the cord around the cord hooks on the back of the unit. Place the vacuum in a dry, upright position. You can also store accessories in a designated holder if available.
