When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230V).
- Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
- Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest lmarflex Authorized Service Center.
- Do not place the unit near gas stove, electric stove or in a heated oven.
- Put the unit on flat stable surface, keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accidents.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the unit in water.
- Avoid placing the carafé on wet or cold surface.
- Do not use the carafé if it is damaged or the handle is not stable.
- Be sure that the cover is in its proper place before use.
- Do not use the unit outdoors.
- Do not use this unit other than its intended function.
- For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.
- Save this instruction for future reference.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS

HOW TO USE
- For initial use, wash filter basket, filter holder and the carafé thoroughly.
- Plug the unit into a convenience outlet. The LCD screen will display "12:00".
NOTE: The time cycle is 24 hours
- Open the cover, pour the desired amount of water into the water tank.
- Put the filter basket into the filter holder.
- For each cup of coffee, put brewed/ground coffee into the filter basket using the measuring scoop. Adjust amount of coffee according to personal taste. Close the lid cover.
- Place the carafé into the heater plate.
- Press the ON/OFF button, the indicator light will be illuminated red. The brewing process will start.
- To keep the coffee hot, leave the carafé in the heater plate.
NOTE: Always turn off the unit if the carafé is empty.
AUTOMATIC START FUNCTION
If you don't want the coffee maker to start operation immediately, for example now it is 5:10pm, you want that the coffee maker will automatically start at 8:15 in the evening, first follow steps 1 to 6 of above selection, then you can set the automatic start function as follows.

- Press PROG button one time, the word CLOCK is showed at the upper-right corner of the LCD screen.
- Press the HOUR and MIN button continuously to set the present time (real clock), that is 17:10 (See fig.1).
- Press PROG button once again and the word TIMER shows on upper-left corner of the display.
- Set the delayed starting time by pressing HOUR and MIN button repetitively, that is 20:15 (See fig.2).
- Press the on/off button twice, the indicator light will illuminate blue and flash.
- When the delayed starting time is reached (20:15) the indicator light will be illuminated red and the brewing process will start.
The LCD will display the current clock. You may see the automatic start time by pressing PROG.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
How to clean the Water Tank:
- Pour water on the water tank with one-pint vinegar.
- Put the carafé into the hot plate.
- Allow the vinegar inside the water tank for at least 30 minutes. Press ON/OFF button. The water will flow into the carafé.
- Empty the carafé and rinse it thoroughly.
- Pour water on the water tank and repeat the brewing cycle.
- To Turn Off the unit, Press ON/OFF button (2) two times.
- Wash the carafe once more.
How to clean the Filter Basket, Filter Holder:
- Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
- Wash the filter basket and filter holder with soap and water.
How to clean the Carafé:
- Always make sure that the Carafé is cool before cleaning.
- Wash the carafé using a mild detergent.
- To remove stains, fill carafé with water and mild soap, allow these inside the carafé overnight.
- Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
- Rinse the carafé thoroughly.
NOTE: Before cleaning, always unplug the unit from the convenience outlet. Do not pour left over brewed coffee in the water tank for re-heating, this will damage the heater.
