Frequently Asked Questions - ICM-350 Imarflex

How do I clean the coffee maker?
Unplug the device and let it cool. Remove the filter and carafe. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Clean the carafe and filter basket with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Descale every 3 months using a descaling solution or vinegar.
How often should I descale the ICM-350?
Descaling is recommended every 3 months to remove mineral buildup. Use a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:2) or a commercial descaling agent. Run two full cycles with clean water afterward.
What type of filter does the ICM-350 use?
It accepts both #4 paper cone filters and the included permanent mesh filter. Using a paper filter yields a cleaner cup, while the permanent filter is reusable.
Why is my coffee maker not brewing?
Check if the water tank is filled and the carafe is properly placed. Ensure the power cord is plugged in and the switch is on. If the machine is overheated, it may have auto-shut off; wait for it to cool and reset.
Can I use the coffee maker without a filter?
No, always use either a paper filter or the permanent mesh filter to prevent ground coffee from entering the carafe and clogging the machine.
How do I replace the carafe?
Contact Imarflex customer service or check authorized dealers for a replacement glass carafe (model ICM-350 carafe). Ensure the new carafe fits the warming plate.
Is the coffee maker auto shut-off safe?
Yes, the ICM-350 features an auto shut-off that turns off the heating element after 30 minutes of inactivity, reducing the risk of overheating and fire.
What water should I use?
Use cold, fresh tap water. For best taste, use filtered bottled water to reduce mineral buildup. Do not use hot water or milk in the tank.
How many cups can the ICM-350 brew?
The carafe holds up to 10 cups (1.2 L). Each cup is approximately 120 ml. The water tank has corresponding markings for desired cup quantity.
