How do I start recording video?

After turning on, press the shutter button once to start recording. Press again to stop. The LED will blink during recording.

Connect the camera to your computer via the included USB cable. It will appear as a removable drive. Copy files directly.

Is the Valore VMS53 waterproof without the housing?

No, the camera itself is not waterproof. You must use the included waterproof housing for underwater use up to 30 meters.

START USING THE 1080P CAR DVR

1) Control buttons

a) Up button

Short press to zoom out when in standby and recording mode.

Up function in menu mode.

b) Menu button

Short press to show function settings.

c) Down button

Short press to zoom in when in standby and recording mode.

Down function in menu mode

d) USB port

Connect external power to charge battery or connect to PC for data transfer.

When conencted ‘Mass Storage’ will be displayed, in this mode you can access video and photo files.

e) OK button

In recording mode, press to start recording. Press again to stop.

In photo mode, press to take photo. Screen flashes to indicate photo is taken.

Confirmation button in menu mode.

f) Mode button

Short press to switch between photo mode, recording mode and playback mode.

g) On/Off button

Short press to switch on. Long press to switch off.

Trouble shooting:

Problem: Cannot take photo or record.

Solution: Check if Micro SD card has enough space or is locked.

Problem: Automatically stop when recording.

Solution: Use a compatible high speed Micro SD card. (Class 10 and above)

Problem: Appear “file error” when replaying video and photo.

Solution: Micro SD card storage error, please format your Micro SD card.

Problem: Unclear video

Solution: Check if there are any dirt or fingerprint and use lens clothe to clear the camera lens.

Problem: Black image when recording sky or water scenes.

Solution: Scenes with high contrast will influence the automatic exposure function of camera, you can adjust 'EV' in setting mode to correct exposure.

Problem: Cross stripe interference in image.

Solution: Reset 'light frequency' to 50Hz or 60Hz according to the local power supply frequency.
