How do I turn on the Valore VMS54 action camera?

Press and hold the Power Button for about 3 seconds until the screen lights up.

How do I start recording video?

Press the Shutter Button on top of the camera. Press again to stop recording.

How do I take a photo?

In photo mode, press the Shutter Button to capture a still image.

How do I connect to the camera via Wi-Fi?

Enable Wi-Fi in the camera settings, then connect your smartphone to the camera's Wi-Fi network. Use the Valore Action Cam app to control the camera.

Is the Valore VMS54 waterproof without a case?

No, the camera itself is not waterproof. You must use the included waterproof case for underwater use up to 30 meters.

What type of memory card does it support?

It supports MicroSD cards up to 64 GB. For best performance, use a Class 10 or UHS-I card.

How do I charge the battery?

Connect the provided USB cable to the camera and a standard USB charger. The LED indicator turns red during charging and blue when fully charged.

How long does the battery last?

The built-in 900 mAh battery provides approximately 90 minutes of continuous 1080p video recording.

Can I use the camera while charging?

It is not recommended to use the camera while charging as it may overheat and reduce battery life.

How do I reset the camera if it freezes?

Use a paperclip to press the reset button located near the USB port. This will restart the camera without losing data.

Mounting

1) Installing and removing battery

a) Pull back the back cover lock to release the battery cap.
b) Correctly install battery into action camera as indicated by +/- symbols and direction of arrowed marked on battery.

2) Charging

a) While charging, a red indicator will be lit.
b) When the battery is full charged, the red indicator will go off.

3) Switching On/Off

a) Press and hold onto Mode/Power button for 3 - 5 seconds till welcome screen appears.
b) Press and hold onto Mode/Power button for 3 - 5 seconds till goodbye screen appears.

4) Mode switching

a) After the action camera is switched on, short press the Mode/Power button to switch between video recording / photo shooting / playback
b) Symbols of mode will be displayed on the top left of the screen.

5) Video recording & photo shooting

a) Insert micro SD card, when in video recording mode, press OK button to start recording, the recording icon on the top left will start to flash. Press OK button again to stop recording.
b) When in photo shooting mode, press OK button to take photos.

Note: Format your micro SD card before use.

Switch on the action camera, in setup mode, choose format and confirm action.

6) File storage & playing

a) Micro SD card have to be Class 10 or above.
b) Use a USB cable to export the videos into a computer, the action camera will prompt Mass Storage. Click on Mass Storage to play and store image.
c) Use a card reader to access the image data on the micro SD card.

Note: Make sure the action camera is turned off properly before removing the micro SD card.

7) Set up

a) After the action camera is switched on, long press the OK button to enter settings for respective mode.

Video recording mode: Resolution / Loop recording / Exposure / Date stamp

Photo shooting mode : Resolution / Capture Mode / Quality / Exposure / Date stamp

Playback mode : Lock / Delete
