How do I enable the G-sensor feature?

The G-sensor is always active. When gravitational acceleration reaches 6g, the camera automatically saves the current video as an undeletable file.

What should I do if the recorded video is unclear?

Check the lens for dirt or fingerprints and clean it with a lens cloth. Also adjust the EV setting in the menu to correct exposure for high-contrast scenes.

How can I format the Micro SD card?

You can format the card using the camera's menu settings (short press the Menu button to access settings). Alternatively, format it on a computer using FAT32.

START USING THE 1080P CAR DVR

1) Control buttons

a) Up button

Short press to zoom out when in standby and recodring mode.

Up function in menu mode.

b) Menu button

Short press to show function settings.

c) Down button

Short press to zoom in when in standby and recording mode.

Down function in menu mode

d) Micro USB port

Connect external power to charge battery or connect to PC for data transfer.

When conencted to a PC, the car DVR will show two modes available,

1) USB-DISK - in this mode you can access video and photo files.

2) PC-Camera - in this mode you can take photo or make video chat

e) OK button

In recording mode, press to start recording. Press again to stop.

In photo mode, press to take photo. Screen flashes to indicate photo is taken.

Confirmation button in menu mode.

f) Mode button

Short press to switch between photo mode, recording mode and playback mode.

g) On/Off button

Short press to switch on. Long press to switch off.

h) Reset slot

Use this to restart when crash.

When gravitational acceleration reach 6g (1g=9.80m/s), car DVR will save present video as undeletable files.

Short press “M” to enforce saving the current video when video is recording.

Trouble shooting:

Problem: Cannot take photo or record.

Solution: Check if Micro SD card has enough space or is locked.

Problem: Automatically stop when recording.

Solution: Use a compatible high speed Micro SD card. (Class 10 and above)

Problem: Appear “file error” when replaying video and photo.

Solution: Micro SD card storage error, please format your Micro SD card.

Problem: Unclear video

Solution: Check if there are any dirt or fingerprint and use lens clothe to clear the camera lens.

Problem: Black image when recording sky or water scenes.

Solution: Scenes with high contrast will influence the automatic exposure function of camera, you can adjust 'EV' in setting mode to correct exposure.

Problem: Cross stripe interference in image.

Solution: Reset 'light frequency' to 50Hz or 60Hz according to the local power supply frequency.
