Frequently Asked Questions - Neo 3 Zempire

How do I pitch the Zempire Neo 3 tent?
Clear the site of sharp objects and choose a flat area. Spread out the inner tent (white) with the round door at the front. Assemble the 4 pole sections, ensuring they do not snap together. Thread the RED poles through the diagonal pole sleeves and insert ends into the pins. Thread the BLUE poles through the front and rear sleeves and insert ends into rings. Peg out all peg points around the inner tent, pegging through the webbing loop at the base of each pole. Finally, pull the fly over the inner tent, aligning the ORANGE webbing loops to mark the front, and attach the velcro loops inside the fly around the corresponding pole sleeves. Peg the fly directly into the ground where no inner peg exists, ensuring space between inner and fly.
What do the color-coded poles mean?
The RED poles are threaded through the diagonal pole sleeves across the center of the tent. The BLUE poles are threaded through the pole sleeves at the front and rear of the tent. This color coding simplifies assembly.
How should I peg the tent?
Insert pegs at a 45° angle for maximum holding power. For the inner tent, peg through the webbing loop at the base of each pole rather than the ring. Peg out all peg points around the inner tent, then attach the fly's elastic loops over existing inner pegs or peg the fly directly into the ground where needed.
How do I ensure proper ventilation?
It is recommended that guy ropes are pegged out at all times and windows are opened whenever possible to allow adequate airflow and prevent condensation.
Can I use a stove or open flame inside the tent?
No. Do not use an open flame inside your tent. The fabric has been treated with a fire retardant but is in no way fireproof. Open flames can cause fire and damage.
How should I clean and store the tent?
Never pack your tent away wet. If you must pack it wet, dry it completely as soon as possible to prevent mildew. Clean all pegs and poles before storing. If mildew forms, wash with warm water and a soft brush; do not use detergents.
What is the front of the tent?
The front is indicated by the ORANGE webbing loops on the fly. The inner tent's round door is located at the front.
How do I set up the fly?
After pegging the inner tent, pull the fly over it. Align the orange webbing loops to the front. Connect the velcro loops inside the fly around the cut-outs on the corresponding pole sleeves. Then attach the elastic loops over existing inner pegs or peg the fly directly into the ground, ensuring significant space between the inner and fly.
What should I do if the tent gets wet?
If you must take down your tent when wet, ensure you dry it completely as soon as possible to prevent mildew formation. Never store a wet tent.
