How do I set up the Zempire Zeus tent?

Lay out the tent body, assemble the two aluminum poles, insert them color-coded into the sleeves or clips, and secure with pegs. Attach the flysheet and guylines for extra stability.

What is the waterproof rating of this tent?

The flysheet has a 3000mm hydrostatic head, and the groundsheet has a 5000mm rating, suitable for moderate rain.

How many people can sleep inside?

The tent is designed for 3 persons in a tight fit, or 2 with gear. Floor area is 3.8 m².

Can I use the tent in winter?

The Zeus is a 3-season tent (spring, summer, fall). It can handle light snow but is not designed for heavy winter conditions.

How do I clean and store the tent?

Clean with a sponge and mild soap, rinse, and air dry completely. Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged UV exposure.

What should I do if a pole breaks?

Replacement poles are available. You can also use a splice repair splint temporarily. Contact Zempire for spare parts.

Is the tent fire retardant?

Yes, the materials meet CPSC flame retardant standards. However, keep the tent away from open flames.

Does the tent come with a footprint?

No, but you can purchase a compatible Zempire footprint separately to protect the groundsheet.

How do I prevent condensation inside the tent?

Ensure proper ventilation by opening the mesh roof vents and door. Avoid breathing directly into the tent and cook outside.

Can I pitch the tent on hard surfaces?

Yes, the tent is freestanding. On hard ground, you can use rock stakes or adhesive discs to secure it.

PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS - ZEUS

1. Clear your site making sure there are no sharp objects. Try to get a site that is as flat as possible. Stretch out the inner tent.

1. Assemble the pole section. Ensure the poles are inserted firmly together. If the ferrules do not connect together correctly they can cause damage when tensioned.

2. Insert the pole ends in to the eyelets found at each corner of the inner. The RED pole sections should be inserted into the RED webbings. Also insert the ends of each brow pole into the eyelets found above each door.

1. Connect the inner to the frame by connecting the c clips the run along each seam.

1. Peg out the inner tent. Try to tension the floor so that it sits flat.

2. Throw the flysheet over the inner and fasten the Velcro ties found on the inside of the fly around the pole lines.

1. Connect the fly to the inner by connecting the Side Release buckles at the end of each pole line.

1. Ensure guy ropes are pegged out at all times during use
2. Never pack your tent away wet. If you must take your tent down when wet, ensure that you dry you tent completely as soon as possible to prevent mildew forming.
3. If mildew does form on your tent wash off pours with warm water and a soft brush to prevent further growth. Do not use detergents.
4. Do not use an open flame inside your tent. The fabric has been treated with a fire retardant but is in no way fire proof.
5. Clean all pegs and poles before storing
6. If your poles do break, use the repair sleeve to cover over the broken section. Once you have returned contact your local retailer for a replacement pole section.
