USER MANUAL IM-8180 Imarflex
- Make sure to switch the unit OFF before plugging in the convenience outlet.

Wash the fruits/vegetables and remove the skin and seeds:

If using fruit with hard or inedible skins such as mangoes, melons or pineapple, always peel before juicing.
- Citrus fruit can be juiced. Simply remove the skin and seeds.

All fruits with pits, hard seeds or stones from nectarines, peaches, mangoes, apricots, plums and cherries must be removed before juicing

Put a cup or container under the Juice Spout.
- Turn ON.
- Insert the fruits/vegetables on the Chute one by one and push down the fruits/ vegetables slowly using the Food Pusher.
- Juice will flow into the cup or container through the Juice Spout and the separated pulp will accumulate in the Pulp Container. Always watch the level of juice in the cup or container. Do not overfill, as juice will continue to drip from the cup or container after you have stopped juicing. Switch OFF the unit and allow the drippings to stop before removing the cup or container.
NOTE:
• TO CLOSE THE JUICE SPOUT, SIMPLY PULL UP THE JUICE SPOUT UNTIL LOCK IN PLACE.
- THE UNIT WAS EQUIPPED WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP WHEN THE MOTOR GET HOT. UNPLUG THE UNIT THEN LET IT COOL.
- Unplug after use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
It is important to thoroughly clean the unit after each use to avoid the build up of food residue.
- Detachable parts can be washed using soap and water.
- For consistent juicing results always ensure that the Filter and Blade is thoroughly cleaned. Using a nylon brush, hold the Filter and Blade under running water and brush from the inside to outer rim. If the holes are blocked, soak the Filter and Blade in hot water with 10% lemon juice to loosen the blocked holes.
- Some vegetables such as carrot may cause discoloration of the plastic, to avoid discoloration wash thoroughly after use.
- Dry all parts thoroughly, then assemble the juice extractor and turn the power ON to spin out any excess water in the Filter/Blade Assembly.
- Wipe the base of the unit with damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

- Do not place the juice extractor near gas stove or electric stove.
- Put the juice extractor on flat stable surface. Keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is not intended to use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the base in water.
- Never insert your fingers, utensils or any other object into the juice extractor feeding tube other than the food pusher.
- Do not attempt to remove or replace any attachment while using.
- Filter/Blade Assembly is sharp, handle it with care.
- Unplug the juice extractor from the electric outlet before cleaning.
- Do not use the juice extractor for outdoor use.
- Do not use the juice extractor other than its intended use.
- For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.
- Save this instruction manual for future reference.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
- For initial use, wash detachable parts thoroughly.
- Place the Filter/Blade Holder on the Motor Base.
- Place the Filter on the Filter/Blade Holder.
- Put the Blade on the Filter Basket.
- Insert the Blade Opener on the two slots on the Blade and turn clockwise.
- Mount the Cover on the Filter/Blade Holder. Make sure that the Cover is fitted on the Filter/Blade Holder and pull up the handle until it locks.
- Put the Pulp Container in the lower hinge of the unit.
