Can I juice whole fruits and vegetables without cutting them?

It is recommended to cut fruits and vegetables into smaller pieces that fit easily into the feeding tube. The feeding tube diameter is 45 mm, so large items like apples or carrots should be quartered.

How do I clean the Imarflex IM-8180 juicer?

After use, unplug the juicer and disassemble all removable parts. Rinse them immediately under running water and use the included cleaning brush to remove pulp. Most parts are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended). Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth only.

What is the maximum continuous operation time?

The juicer is designed for household use. Do not operate continuously for more than 2 minutes without letting it cool down for at least 2 minutes to prevent motor overheating.

Why is the juicer not working?

Check that all parts are properly assembled and the locking arm is securely closed. The safety switch prevents operation if the arm is open. Also ensure the juicer is plugged into a working outlet.

Can I juice leafy greens like spinach or wheatgrass?

Yes, the two-speed setting allows you to use low speed for leafy greens and high speed for harder produce. For best results, alternate leafy greens with other fruits or vegetables.

How do I adjust the pulp consistency?

The IM-8180 does not have an adjustable pulp control. The pulp is automatically separated and collected in the pulp container. If you prefer less pulp in juice, use a fine mesh strainer after juicing.

Is the juice jug BPA-free?

Yes, all plastic parts that come into contact with food are made from BPA-free materials.

Can I put the motor base in water?

No, never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid. Only wipe it with a damp cloth. The detachable parts can be washed in water or dishwasher.

What types of fruits can I juice?

Most fruits and vegetables can be juiced: apples, carrots, oranges, celery, beets, ginger, etc. Remove hard pits (like peach stones) and peel citrus fruits if you prefer less bitterness.

Does the juicer have a reverse function?

No, the IM-8180 does not have a reverse function. If the feeding tube gets clogged, turn off the juicer, unplug it, and clear the blockage with the pusher or by removing the parts.

1. Make sure to switch the unit OFF before plugging in the convenience outlet.

2. Wash the fruits/vegetables and remove the skin and seeds:

3. If using fruit with hard or inedible skins such as mangoes, melons or pineapple, always peel before juicing.

4. Citrus fruit can be juiced. Simply remove the skin and seeds.

5. All fruits with pits, hard seeds or stones from nectarines, peaches, mangoes, apricots, plums and cherries must be removed before juicing

6. Put a cup or container under the Juice Spout.

7. Turn ON.
8. Insert the fruits/vegetables on the Chute one by one and push down the fruits/ vegetables slowly using the Food Pusher.
9. Juice will flow into the cup or container through the Juice Spout and the separated pulp will accumulate in the Pulp Container. Always watch the level of juice in the cup or container. Do not overfill, as juice will continue to drip from the cup or container after you have stopped juicing. Switch OFF the unit and allow the drippings to stop before removing the cup or container.

NOTE:

• TO CLOSE THE JUICE SPOUT, SIMPLY PULL UP THE JUICE SPOUT UNTIL LOCK IN PLACE.
- THE UNIT WAS EQUIPPED WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP WHEN THE MOTOR GET HOT. UNPLUG THE UNIT THEN LET IT COOL.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

It is important to thoroughly clean the unit after each use to avoid the build up of food residue.

1. Detachable parts can be washed using soap and water.
2. For consistent juicing results always ensure that the Filter and Blade is thoroughly cleaned. Using a nylon brush, hold the Filter and Blade under running water and brush from the inside to outer rim. If the holes are blocked, soak the Filter and Blade in hot water with 10% lemon juice to loosen the blocked holes.
3. Some vegetables such as carrot may cause discoloration of the plastic, to avoid discoloration wash thoroughly after use.
4. Dry all parts thoroughly, then assemble the juice extractor and turn the power ON to spin out any excess water in the Filter/Blade Assembly.
5. Wipe the base of the unit with damp cloth.
6. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE

1. For initial use, wash detachable parts thoroughly.
2. Place the Filter/Blade Holder on the Motor Base.
3. Place the Filter on the Filter/Blade Holder.
4. Put the Blade on the Filter Basket.
5. Insert the Blade Opener on the two slots on the Blade and turn clockwise.
6. Mount the Cover on the Filter/Blade Holder. Make sure that the Cover is fitted on the Filter/Blade Holder and pull up the handle until it locks.
7. Put the Pulp Container in the lower hinge of the unit.
