How to turn on and use the Active Era BS-01 scale?

Place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Step gently onto the platform to turn it on automatically. Stay still until your weight is displayed. The scale turns off automatically after a few seconds of inactivity.

What to do if the screen shows 'Err' or 'Overload'?

The Err or Overload message indicates that the weight exceeds the maximum capacity of 180 kg. Step off the scale immediately to avoid damage.

How to change the batteries of the BS-01 scale?

Turn the scale over, open the battery compartment located under the device, remove the old batteries and insert two new AAA batteries, observing polarity. Close the cover.

How to change the measurement unit (kg, lb, st)?

Press the button located under the scale or on the side to switch between kg, lb, and st. Refer to the manual for the exact location of the button.

The scale shows different measurements, is it accurate?

When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety instructions should always be followed, including the following:

• Use this device only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

• Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical elements in the device. Doing so may be unsafe and will void your warranty.

This product is supplied with AAA disposable batteries.

BATTERY WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

Choking hazard. Do not swallow. Harmful if swallowed. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

• This product only uses a AAA battery. It is not compatible with other battery types.
• Do not allow children to handle batteries.
• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
• Ensure that the battery is installed with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Remove exhausted battery promptly.
• Always inspect new batteries before use. Damaged or weak batteries may leak acid. Discontinue use if batteries show signs of leakage, damage, or weakness at any time.
• Ensure the battery compartment is correctly and securely closed after installing the batteries.
• Wash hands after handling batteries.
• Disposable batteries are not rechargeable and must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Always dispose of batteries at an official collection point and according to your local environmental laws and guidelines.

TO INSERT OR REPLACE BATTERY

1. Carefully remove the battery cover on the underside of the scales
2. Insert 2xAAA batteries into the compartment as per the directions indicated
3. After inserting the batteries, replace the battery cover

WEIGHING

1. Place the scales on a solid and level surface
2. Stepping onto the scales will automatically turn them on. Once a steady measurement is taken, the final weight measurement will flash on the screen
3. Scales will automatically switch off when not in use

Note:

• Do not jump onto the scales as this may damage the measuring instruments
• Always use on a hard surface. Measurements will be inaccurate on a soft surface such as carpet
• Try and keep balanced and as steady as possible when standing on the scales

UNIT CONVERSION

The scale measures weight in Kilograms (kg), Pounds(lb) and Stone (st). Press the button on the underside of the scales to switch between them.

ERROR CODES

• 'Lo' – Batteries are low and need replacing
• ‘Err’ – Scales are overloaded and have exceeded maximum weight. Step off the scales to avoid damaging the sensors
• ‘C’ – A measuring error has occurred. Step off scales and back on again

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Never overload the scales. This may damage the sensors
• Do not leave heavy items on the scales when not in use
• Keep away from water
• To avoid slipping, keep the scales dry and never use with wet feet
• Always keep the scales horizontal
• To clean the scales, wipe with a soft damp cloth. Never use cleaning chemicals.
