USER MANUAL IJE-7000S Imarflex

1. Make sure that the appliance is in '0' position before plugging in the convenience outlet.

2. Assemble the Juicer (See How to Assemble)

3. Wash the fruits/vegetables and remove the skin and seeds:

4. If using fruit with hard or inedible skins such as mangoes, melons or pineapple, always peel before juicing

5. Citrus fruit can be juiced. Simply remove the skin and seeds
6. All fruits with pits, hard seeds or stones from nectarines, peaches, mangoes, apricots, plums and cherries must be removed before juicing

7. Be sure to cut the fruit or vegetable into pieces, no larger than 2 inches for optimal extraction, and remove any large hard seeds.

8. Put a cup or container under the Juice Spout.

9. Select the desired speed by turning the speed selector.

10. Speed I – Function is for juicing soft vegetables, soft fruits or any light mixture
    • Speed II – Function is for juicing hard vegetables and hard fruits

11. Juice will flow into the cup or container through the juice spout and the separated pulp will accumulate in the pulp container. Always watch the level of juice in the cup or container. Do not overfill, as juice will continue to drip from the cup or container after you have stopped juicing. Switch OFF the unit and allow the drippings to stop before removing the cup or container.

NOTE: THE UNIT WAS EQUIPPED WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP WHEN THE MOTOR GET HOT. UNPLUG THE UNIT THEN LET IT COOL.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

It is important to thoroughly clean the unit after each use to avoid the buildup of food residue.

1. Make sure to switch off and unplug the unit before moving or cleaning the appliance.
2. Detachable parts can be washed using soap and water.
3. For consistent juicing results always ensure that the filter and blade is thoroughly cleaned. Using a nylon brush, hold the filter and blade under running water and brush from the inside to outer rim. If the holes are blocked, soak the filter and blade in hot water with 10% lemon juice to loosen the blocked holes.
4. Some vegetables such as carrot may cause discoloration of the plastic, to avoid discoloration wash thoroughly after use.
5. Dry all parts thoroughly, then assemble the juice extractor and turn the power ON to spin out any excess water in the Filter/Blade Assembly.

6. Wipe the base of the unit with damp cloth.

7. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches. Note: Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions thoroughly.

2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).

3. Do not use a two-way socket with another appliance.

4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarflex Authorized Service Center.

5. Do not place the unit near a gas stove, an electric burner or in a heated oven.

6. Place the unit on stable surface; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.

7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

9. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.

10. Use of accessories or equipment not supplied by the manufacturer may cause damage or malfunctioning of your appliance or result in injuries.

11. Use on a hard, flat level surface only, to avoid interruption of air flow underneath the appliance.

12. Switch off the appliance and unplug the unit before replacing any of its accessories or before cleaning the appliance.

13. Do not extract above the maximum capacity (1000cc). Juice may overflow.

14. Do not use the appliance if any of the appliance part is damaged or has a visible crack.

15. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

16. This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.

17. Never place the appliance near hot surfaces.

18. In case of malfunctions, please bring the appliance to the nearest Authorized lmarflex Service Center.

19. Avoid water spillage into the socket, connector, cord and alike.

20. Do not use the appliance other than its intended use.

21. For household use only; not intended for any business purposes

23. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external

switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE:

IMPORTANT: Your juicer parts are subject to wear during normal use. Always inspect the unit and parts for nicks, chips or cracks. Always inspect for broken, cracked or loose parts. Do not use the unit if damage. Contact the Imarflex Authorized Service Center to obtain evaluation and repair.

1. For initial use, wash detachable parts thoroughly.
2. Place the Filter/Blade Holder on the Motor Base.
3. Place the Filter on the Filter/Blade Holder.
4. Put the Blade on the Filter Basket.
5. Mount the Cover on the Filter/Blade Holder. Make sure that the Cover is fitted on the Filter/Blade Holder and pull up the handle until it locks.
6. Put the Pulp Container in the lower hinge of the unit.
7. Place the juice container in front of the spout.
