USER MANUAL ICM-950G Imarflex

When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the coffee maker, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the electric outlet (220Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarflex authorized service center.
5. Do not use the coffee maker if the water tank is empty.
6. Do not place the coffee maker near gas stove, electric burner or heated oven.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical, sensor or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been giving supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person for their safety.
8. Put the coffee maker on flat stable surface, keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
9. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
10. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the coffee maker.
11. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the coffee maker in water.
12. Do not use carafé for other purposes.
13. Avoid placing the carafé on a wet or cold surface.
14. Do not use the carafé if it has a crack or the handle is not stable.
15. Be sure that the lid is in proper place while in process of brewing.
16. Unplug the unit and allow to cool before cleaning.
17. Do not use the coffee maker for outdoor use.
18. For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.
19. Save this instruction manual for future reference.

HOW TO USE

COFFEE BREWING:

1. For initial use, wash Filter Holder, Water Tank, Grinder and the Carafé thoroughly.
2. Slide IN the Coffee Filter on the slot under the Top Cover (see Fig 1).
3. Put the Filter into the Filter Basket (see Fig. 2).
4. Pull up the Water Tank and pour water and Push Down (see Fig 3).
5. Pour coffee on the Filter (see Fig. 4).
6. Place the Carafé into the Hot Plate (see Fig 5).
7. Plug IN (see Fig 6).
8. Switch the unit ON (see Fig 7).
9. When the brew cycle is finished the water will drip into the Carafé.
10. To keep the coffee hot, leave the Carafé in the hot plate.

COFFEE GRINDING:

1. Pull up the Coffee Grinder.
2. Remove the cover.
3. Put desired amount of coffee beans.
4. Cover.
5. Align and push down the Coffee Grinder Container on the right corner slot (see Fig. 8).
6. Press the button on the Cover to start grinding.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

How to clean the Water Tank:

1. Pull up the Water Tank (see Fig 3), wash with soap and water.
2. Let it dry.

How to clean the Hot Plate Basket:

1. Unplug the unit, allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
2. Wipe the hot plate with damp cloth and wipe it dry.

How to clean the Carafé:

1. Wash the Carafé using a mild detergent.
2. To remove stains, fill Carafé with water and mild soap, allow these inside the Carafé overnight.
3. Rinse the Carafé thoroughly.

How to clean the Filter Basket:

1. Unplug the unit, allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
2. Remove the Filter Basket, slightly push up and pull (see Fig. 9)
3. Wash with soap and water.

1. Let it dry.
2. Return the Filter Basket (see Fig. 10)
