Frequently Asked Questions - MJ-H100 PANASONIC

How do I assemble the juicer correctly?
Place the Container Unit onto the Motor Housing ensuring the Spout and clamps align. Insert the Spinner into the Container Unit, then place the Container Cover on top. Rotate the clamps until a locking sound is heard. Make sure the Switch is OFF before plugging in.
Why does the juicer stop suddenly during use?
This may be due to overloading. The circuit breaker automatically stops the motor. Switch OFF, remove accumulated pulp from the Spinner and Container Cover, cut ingredients into smaller pieces, reassemble, and resume operation. Do not reset repeatedly.
How should I clean the juicer after use?
Unplug and disassemble all removable parts. Wash both sides of the Spinner mesh with a sponge under running water. Use a brush if needed. Wash other parts with cold or lukewarm water and a soft sponge. Do not use harsh chemicals or a dishwasher. Wipe the Motor Housing with a damp cloth.
Can I juice soft fruits like bananas or peaches?
No, soft fruits that produce puree can clog the Spinner. Avoid bananas, peaches, apricots, and similar fruits. Also avoid low-juice ingredients (fresh basil) and hard ingredients (sugarcane, coconut). Remove hard seeds from fruits like guava before juicing.
What does the safety lock do?
The safety lock prevents the juicer from switching ON when the Container Unit is not properly in place. Do not force the safety pins with any object. Keep the safety pin area clean to ensure smooth operation.
How do I detach the spout for cleaning?
Turn the Container Unit upside down. Gently push the ribs inward and slowly pull the Spout out. To reattach, push the Spout in position until a 'click' is heard.
Is it normal for the juicer to have a slight smell when first used?
Yes, during initial usage a slight burn smell may occur. This is normal and will disappear after a few uses.
Can I use the juicer continuously for a long time?
No, it is recommended to rest the appliance for at least 2 minutes after every 2 minutes of operation to prevent overheating.
What should I do if the power cord is damaged?
Do not use the appliance. The cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service center, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard.
How should I store the juicer?
Unplug and clean all parts. Wind the cord around the Motor Housing and secure with the cord clamp. Place the Container Unit upside down to protect the Spout. Store in a dry place.
