OSTRZEŻENIE.
- Read thoroughly this manual before the first use of the device.
- The pet hair clipper is intended only for grooming pets. The set is intended only for grooming pets. The set must not be used to groom human hair due to injury risk.
- Do not use the clipper while bathing your pet or for trimming wet hair (coat). The appliance is intended solely for trimming dry hair.
- The appliance should be connected to the mains compatible with current parameters stated on the enclosure.
- The cord may not be run through sharp edges and close to hot surfaces and objects, because the insulation may be damaged. Electrocution hazard.
- Do not place any objects on the cord, furniture, etc. and make sure that the cord is not bent.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains pulling the plug, and not the power supply cord.

This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical and mental capacity and persons with no experience and knowledge of the equipment if the supervision or instruction is provided for use of the equipment in a safe way, so that the related hazards are understandable. Do not put the appliance close to sources of heat.
- The hair clipper must not be immersed in water or sprinkled,
- Do not ever use the hair clipper when wet, with wet hands or close to showers, water in the tub, washbasin or other containers. When the device is used in the bathroom, disconnect it after use, as closeness of water is hazardous even when the device is switched off,

- Do no use when unusual symptoms occur while operating the device: smoke, strange odour or unusual sounds. The device should be checked by a specialist.
- Use the unit only with the original accessories that are provided with it.
- Check regularly whether the power supply cord and the whole device are not damaged. The device must not be switched on if any damages are found. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the Service of the Manufacturer to prevent hazardous si-

- only authorised service centres may repair the device. Any modernisation of the appliance or using non-original spare parts or elements of the device is forbidden and threatens safety of its use.

OPERATION
Before the first use, put the battery in, phot. 1. The MZ300 can be used as an appliance powered by electricity or a battery. If the appliance is powered by electricity, it is ready to be used right away.
ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY
- Turn off the appliance, the switch-key (3) in position "0".
- Plug in the feeder (6) and connect it to the hair clipper.
- Power supply is signalled by the red control lamp (4).
- To start operation, turn the switch-key (3) to position "1".
- when finished, turn off the device by pushing the switch (3) down and disconnect the power cable from the socket and then from the device port (10)
CHARGING AND OPERATION WITH THE BATTERY
- Turn off the appliance, the switch-key (3) in position "0".
- Plug in the feeder (6) and connect it to the hair clipper.
- Charging is signalled by the red control lamp (4).
Battery charging time: approx. 8 hours
NOTICE: The control lamp (4) does not go out after the battery has been charged.
- After the battery has been charged, disconnect the feeder, the appliance is ready for operation with the battery. To start operation, turn the switch-key (3) to position "1".
Charging the battery for over 12 hours reduces its life span. If the appliance is not used for a longer period of time, it is recommended to charge the battery at least once every half a year. Failure to charge the battery for a period of over 6 months also
HAIR CLIPPING
- Set the switch (3) in the "0" position,
- Make sure the appliance is clean, correctly assembled and oiled.
- Before clipping the hair, comb it to make it more natural.
- Install the right comb head (5) by sliding it in the side slideways of the cutting head (phot. 2). To remove the comb head, press the "PUSH" area on the comb head and move it according to the indicated direction. The rotating ring (2) allows for precise control of hair length: 0.8 mm - 2 mm. Additional comb heads (5) of 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm, and the 5-grade control ring offer 25 different hair lenghts.
- It is recommended to start clipping with the use of the comb head for longer hair.
- To start the appliance, place the switch (3) in the "I" position
- The appliance must be running when it is put in contact with the coat.
- Trimming is best started from the neck, progressing towards the tail.
- Without using the comb heads, the hair can be clipped evenly to the length of 0.8-2 mm.
CAUTION. Be cautious when trimming hair in sensitive spots, such as face, stomach, etc. Trim small areas, slowly passing the appliance along the natural direction of the coat.
CAUTION. Do no use the hair clipper for wet hair. The head (1) becomes hot when in operation, which is natural. Switch off the appliance from time to time, using the switch (3), and check whether the head (1) is not too hot. If this is the case, stop trimming and wait for the head (1) to cool down.
• CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and turn it off.
Do not use any cleansing agents which are strong or may damage the surface.
Wipe the casing with a moist or dry cloth.
After using the appliance, the chamber of cutting knives should always be cleaned. For this purpose, open the cutting head (1) by pressing the clipper blades with your thumb in the direction shown in phot. 3.
Protect the blades against falling down.
NOTICE. Before opening the cutting head, turn the hair length control ring (2) to position "2 mm".
Clean the blades with the brush included in the set.
Cutting blades must be maintained on a regular basis.
Put one to two drops of oil between the blades and turn the appliance on for a few seconds.
Do not use hair oils, fat, oils mixed with refined kerosene or other solvents.
Do not immerse the appliance in water.
The knife is an utility tool and should be replaced regularly. The knife is not covered by guarantee.
