Frequently Asked Questions - Pro U7 Yaber

What should I do if the projector does not turn on?
Check the power connection and ensure the power cord is securely plugged in. If the indicator light does not work, it may be a power supply issue or the over-heat protection system may have been triggered. Let the projector cool down and try again. If the problem persists, contact YABER support at aftersales@yabertech.com.
Why is the remote control not working?
First, ensure the power switch on the projector is on. Replace the batteries in the remote (2 AAA) and ensure they are fresh. Remove any obstructions between the remote and the IR receiver on the projector. Avoid direct strong light on the IR window. If still not working, try using the buttons on the projector itself.
How do I connect my smartphone to the projector wirelessly?
For iOS devices, use iOS Cast: connect both the projector and your iPhone/iPad to the same WiFi network, then enable Screen Mirroring from Control Center and select the projector named 'U7-iOSCast-xxxx'. For Android devices, use Miracast: ensure your Android device supports screen mirroring, turn on WLAN (no need to connect to a router), then select the projector named 'U7-AnCast-XX' from the screen mirroring list.
Can I connect Bluetooth headphones or speakers?
Yes, the projector supports Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth speakers, and Airpods. Go to Home > Settings (gear icon) > Bluetooth Setting, turn on Bluetooth, and pair your device. Note: Bluetooth keyboards and phones are not supported.
The projected image is blurry. How can I fix it?
First, adjust the Focus Ring on the lens until the image is clear. If still blurry, check the projection distance – the recommended distance is about 10.8 ft. Also, ensure the projector is perpendicular to the screen and use the Keystone correction (vertical/horizontal) to get a rectangular shape.
No image appears on the screen but the projector is on. What should I do?
Verify that the correct input source is selected (HDMI1, HDMI2, or AV) from the home page. Check that the external device (e.g., TV stick, laptop) is powered on and the cable is securely connected. Also, ensure the resolution of the source is not too high (refresh rate should be ≤75Hz for PC).
There is picture but no sound. How do I fix this?
Check the audio cables and ensure they are properly connected. Make sure the volume is not set to minimum or muted (press the Mute button on the remote). For external speakers, connect via the 3.5mm headphone jack or Bluetooth. If using HDMI, try a different cable or port.
The projector overheats and shuts down automatically. What can I do?
Ensure the air vents are not blocked. Keep the projector in a well-ventilated area with at least 20 cm clearance around the vents. Clean the detachable dust filter regularly using the switch on the side. Do not cover the projector with cloth or blankets. If the issue continues, contact support.
I see dark spots on the projection screen. How do I remove them?
Dark spots are often caused by dust inside the projector. Use the dust cleaning port (refer to the manual for location) to gently clean the interior. You can also contact YABER for a video guide on removing dust. Do not disassemble the projector yourself.
How do I update the projector's firmware?
Go to Home > Settings (gear icon) > System Update. You can update Online (requires WiFi) or Local via a downloaded firmware file on a USB drive. The projector will check for the latest version. If it says 'Your Projector OS is the latest version', no update is needed.
