3 Initial use and installation

Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Open the hard drive enclosure using the provided screwdriver by loosening the screws on the bottom of the enclosure. After loosening the screws, you need to remove the cover and take the PCP out. Now connect the desired M.2 SATA SSD and mount it using the screw provided. When inserting the board take care the locking mechanism of the case is properly linked to the mechanical fixture on the board.

Then place the adapter along with the mounted hard drive back in the enclosure and screw the cover back on. In order to connect the device, you have to push the USB 3.0 connector out using the slider and connect it to a USB port on your computer. The drive should now appear, e.g., in Explorer or be configurable under disk management.
