No, use only on towel-dried or dry hair. Using on wet hair may cause damage or electric shock.

How do I clean the brush?

Unplug and let it cool completely. Remove hair from the bristles. Wipe the handle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.

What do the switch positions mean?

Position 0 turns the device off. I is low heat for fine or straight hair. II is medium heat for normal or slightly wavy hair. III is high heat for thick or curly hair.

Does the brush have ion technology?

Yes, the device includes ion technology that activates automatically. It releases negative ions to reduce static, frizz, and UV damage, leaving hair smoother and softer.

What safety precautions should I follow?

- Before connecting to the mains, you must check whether the type of current and the mains voltage match the specifications on the device rating Plate.

- The electrical socket in which you connect the device must not be defective or loose and must be suitable for the required current load and, above all, must be reliably grounded.

- Avoid using an extension cord as this could overheat and cause a fire.

- Do not twist the power cord or kink it.

- Do not pull on the mains cable to disconnect the device from the mains. Always pull on the plug to pull out the power cord.

3. Children under the age of 8 and animals must be kept away from the device and the connecting cable.

4. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.

5. It is forbidden to adapt or modify the properties of this device in any way and only use spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer (failure to do so will invalidate the guarantee).

6. Only use and store the device in closed rooms.

7. Make sure that the device and the connecting cable do not fall into the water or get wet.

1. Keep children away from packaging material. If swallowed there is a risk of suffocation!
2. The brush gets hot during use. Handle the device with care as there is a risk of burns.
3. Hold the device by the handle only.
4. Make sure that the connection cable does not pose a trip hazard.
5. Do not use the device in close proximity to petrol: gas, oil: alcohol or other explosive and easily flammable liquids I gases.
6. Hold min. 1 m away from easily flammable objects such as furniture, curtains, paper, etc.
7. Do not operate the device unsupervised. If you leave the room, always switch off the device.
8. Do not connect the device to a multiple socket together with other consumers (with high wattage) in order to avoid overloading and possibly a short circuit (fire).
9. Only connect the device to a properly installed socket. The socket must also be easily accessible after connection so that the mains connection can be disconnected quickly.
10. The device must be switched off when the mains plug is pulled or plugged into the socket.
11. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center in order to avoid all possible risks. Do not twist or bend the power cord.

EXTRA FUNCTION - ION TECHNOLOGY

The Styling brush is equipped With an ION-function, which switches on automatically as soon as you turn the device on.

How does the ion effect work?

The molecules contained in the intake air are "ionized" Y negatively charged. These negatively charged ions, which are released to the hair during styling, neutralize the positively charged ions in the hair and have following effects:

• The hair becomes smoother, softer and more supple.
• Reduced dehydration of the hair and revitalization of the hair structure.
• Reduction of static charge and frizz.

The hair is better protected from UV rays.

STARTUP

1. Installation

• Remove the device from the packaging and remove all packaging materials.
• Check the device for possible damage.

- Unwind the power cord and also check it for damage.

- Insert the plug into a suitable socket.

1. How to use the Hot Air Brush

- Before using the "Hot Air Brush", comb or brush your hair well with a commercially available hairbrush or a comb to ensure that there are no knots in the hair.

- Now set the desired heating level by turning the switch to one of the following positions:

O	OFF
I	heating level 1	for fine & straight hair
II	heating level 2	for normal & slightly wavy hair
III	heating level 3	for thick & curly hair

• Allow the device to heat up. When it is hot, you can start using it.
• Separate the hair into groups and run the styling brush through each one.
• Do not keep the device in one position for too long as this could damage the hair.
• Ensure that the device does not come in contact with the scalp.
• Repeat this process until you are satisfied with the result.
• Turn the switch to "0". to turn the device off
• Unplug the device and allow it to cool down.
• Let your hair cool down before using any styling products.

Note

The thicker the hair, the more you will need to run the brush through your hair to achieve the desired result.

PLEASE NOTE

• Do not use this device on wet hair.
• Your hair must at least be towel-dry.
• Keep the brush away from the face; especially the eyes.
• Maintain a distance of at least 3-5 cm between your head and the brush.
  • We recommend using a heat protection spray to protect the hair.
• Do not use any other styling products, such as hairspray, gel or mousse, as they may stick to the brush

WARRANTY

By purchasing a BE COOL quality product you have acquired an innovative, long lasting and reliable item.

For this BE COOL device we grant a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase, valid in Austria only.

In the unlikely event that service work is required on your device in this period we warrant free repair (spare parts and labour) or (subject to Schuss's decision) to replace the product. In the event that neither repair nor exchange make sense from an economical perspective we reserve the right to issue a credit based on current value.

When dealing with air conditioning devices you should always contact the customer hotline first (see label on the device or the title page of the instruction manual), in case of fans contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair not performed by the authorised workshop in Austria immediately renders this warranty void.

This warranty does not include:

● Repair of replacement of parts due to normal wear • Damage due to non-compliance with the instruction manual
● Devices that are used commercially — even in part
● Devices damaged by external forces (falling, impact, cracking, improper use etc.) as well as aesthetic wear
● Devices that have been used improperly
● Devices that were not opened by our authorised workshop.
● Unfulfilled customer expectations.
● Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning and overvoltage.
● Devices on which type denomination and/or serial number on the device have been erased, rendered illegible or removed.
● Service work not performed by our authorised workshops, transport costs to an authorised workshop or us and back as well as associated risks.

Please note that within the warranty period we charge a flat rate of 60 € (indexed as per consumer price index 2010, June 2015) in case of operating errors or if no fault can be found.

The total warranty period of 2 years is not extended if warranty service is performed (repair or device replacement).

The 2 year warranty is only valid if the original invoice (must contain name and address of the dealer as well as full device name) and the respective warranty certificate are produced, on which the device type and serial number (can be found on the box and the device's rear or bottom) are to be noted! Only the statutory warranty coverage applies if the warranty certificate cannot be produced!

Please note that the statutory warranty coverage is not altered by this warranty and that it applies in full regardless.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents are only liable for damages in case of gross negligence or intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but not incurred savings, consequential damages and damages from third party claims is excluded in any case. Damages to or for recorded data are always excluded from the liability for damages.
