Intended use

The product is a 4-outlet power strip suitable for outdoor use (IP44) and can be used to connect electrical appliances such as pond aerators, fountains, garden lighting, etc. It is important to note that the total power of all connected devices must not exceed 3680W. It is important to read the operating instructions carefully and to keep them and only pass the product on to third parties together with the operating instructions. Modification or alteration of the product is not permitted for safety and approval (CE) reasons and may result in damage or danger such as short circuit, fire or electric shock. The product complies with the applicable national and European requirements and all company and product names contained are trademarks of their respective owners. All rights reserved.

Please read the operating instructions carefully and pay particular attention to the safety instructions. If you do not follow the safety instructions and instructions for correct handling, we accept no responsibility for damage to persons or property. In addition, the warranty/guarantee becomes invalid in such cases.

• Only use the appliance with a proper mains socket.
• Make sure that the power socket is nearby and easily accessible.
• Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the cable, but always by the handles.
• Unplug the appliance if it is not going to be used for a long time.
• Always pull the plug out of the socket during a thunderstorm.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not crushed, kinked, damaged or otherwise stressed. Avoid excessive heat or cold stress on the cable. Do not modify the power cord. A damaged mains cable can cause an electric shock.
• Do not use the product if the power cord is damaged. Switch off the power socket and carefully pull out the plug.
• Only have a damaged mains cable replaced by a qualified specialist.
• Do not plug in or unplug the mains plug with wet hands.
• Do not overload the product and observe the power specification in the technical data.
• Do not use multiple sockets or plug them in one after the other as this can lead to an overload and fire hazard.
• Do not operate the product covered, as it may overheat and catch fire.
• The product is only de-energised when the mains plug is disconnected.
• Do not point a jet of water at the product.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept away from children and animals.

Installation site

• Do not place the product in a recess or depression as water may remain there.
• Instead, choose a firm, level and horizontal place from which the rainwater can run off without getting inside the enclosure.

• Connect the mains plug to a suitable socket.
• Connect the devices you want to connect to the sockets. Make sure that the cables are properly routed through the openings provided and are not pinched when you close the housing.
• Switch on the connected units.

Cleaning and care

• The product does not require user maintenance and should not be opened or disassembled. Repairs may only be carried out by a qualified specialist or workshop.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals, as this may damage the housing or impair its operation.
• Avoid cleaning the product with water jets such as from a high-pressure cleaner.
• Before any cleaning, disconnect the product from the power supply and from any connected device.
• Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the housing and a few drops of mild washing-up liquid for heavier soiling.

For this BE COOL appliance we grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase valid in Austria! If, contrary to expectations, service work should nevertheless be necessary on your device during this period, we hereby guarantee to repair the device free of charge (spare parts and labour) or (at the discretion of Schuss) to exchange the product. Should neither repair nor exchange be possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a current value credit note.

This warranty does not cover:

• In case of improper use, we do not assume any consequential damage, repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.

The provision of warranty service (repair or replacement of the appliance) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year warranty is only valid on presentation of the purchase receipt (must contain the name and address of the dealer as well as the complete designation of the unit) and the corresponding warranty certificate, on which the type of unit as well as the serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the unit) must be noted! Without the guarantee certificate, only the legal guarantee applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this guarantee and continue undiminished.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in the event of gross negligence or intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but not realised savings, consequential damage and damage from third party claims is excluded in any case. Damages to or for recorded data are always excluded from the liability for damages.
