Frequently Asked Questions - IAN 291864 FLORABEST

How do I replace the cutting line on the Florabest IAN 291864?
Turn off the trimmer and remove the battery. Press the tabs on the spool cover to remove it. Take out the old spool, insert new line (1.5 mm diameter) as per the arrow direction, and reassemble.
What battery and charger are compatible with this model?
The IAN 291864 uses a 20 V Lithium-ion battery from Florabest's 20 V series. The charger is model FLORABEST 20V CHARGER (sold separately).
Can I use the trimmer in light rain?
The trimmer has IPX4 splash-proof protection, so it can handle light rain or splashes. However, do not submerge in water and avoid heavy downpours.
How long does the battery last on a full charge?
With a 2.0 Ah battery, runtime is approximately 20-25 minutes under normal load. Higher capacity batteries (e.g., 4.0 Ah) double the runtime.
What is the correct way to store the trimmer?
Remove the battery and store in a dry place. Hang the trimmer vertically or lay it flat. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep out of reach of children.
The trimmer is vibrating excessively. What should I do?
Check for imbalance: ensure the cutting head is not bent or damaged. Also, verify that the spool is evenly wound. If vibration persists, inspect the shaft for wear contact customer service.
How do I switch from trimming to edging mode?
The Florabest IAN 291864 features a rotating handle. Press the rotation lock button and turn the handle 90° to convert from trimming to edging position.
Is it safe to use without the safety guard?
No. The safety guard protects you from flying debris and accidental contact with the cutting line. Always operate with the guard attached.
What is the warranty period for this product?
Florabest offers a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. Keep your receipt and register the product online for full coverage.
Can I use third-party cutting lines?
Use only 1.5 mm diameter line. Third-party lines may work but could affect performance or damage the trimmer. For best results, use Florabest original line.
