PREPARATION OF THE MACHINE
1a. Before starting the operations, make sure that all the components are correctly placed, as shown in the picture in the KEY.
2a. Fill the container (11) (fig. 1) with tap water. The capacity is of about 2,6 ~L which allows a good operating range. It is also possible to remove the container (11) and fill it directly under the tap, carefully replacing it in its position.
3a. Open the coffee container (16) (fig. 2) by lifting the cover. Pour the coffee beans into the container and close it.
NOTE: the grinding and the amount of water are set during factory testing in order to make a good espresso. You can change these parameters according to your taste or to the necessity of particular blends as described in paragraph 4a and 6a.
4a. Open the access cover to the infusion chamber (17) (fig.3) by pushing in the middle of the left side. Now you can operate the grinding regulator handle (23). With this handle you can regulate the grinding degree and the amount of coffee that you want to use for each dose (fig. 4). By turning it clockwise (low numbers on the indicator "24"), you can have a coarser grinding. By turning it anti-clockwise (high numbers) you can have finer grinding. With finer grinding, the coffee will have a deeper and stronger taste, with coarser grinding the coffee will have a light and delicate taste. According to regulation of the type of grinding, the machine automatically chooses the right dose of coffee powder.
5a. After regulating, close the cover (17) putting it back in its position.
6a. Open the cover (15) by pulling and turning it outwards (fig.5). In this way you can reach the coffee length regulator handle (22). With this handle (22) you can set as you like the amount of water to be used for the preparation of your coffee: by turning the handle clockwise, more water will be used and so the coffee will be longer. Anticlockwise rotation will produce a stronger coffee.
NOTE: the regulator remains set for the next request. The machine is equipped with a selection button (1) for automatic dispensing of longer coffee. After regulating, close the cover (15).
7a. Connect the power supply cable (29) to the mains.
