How do I attach the feet to the heater?

The feet are supplied separately in the box. Attach them to the base using the 4 self-tapping screws provided, ensuring they are correctly located in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings.

What power settings are available?

The heater has three power settings: 750W, 1250W, and 2000W, selectable via the power switch.

How do I set the thermostat?

Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the max position. When the desired room temperature is reached, slowly turn it anticlockwise until you hear a 'click'. The heater will then maintain that temperature automatically.

What should I do if the heater turns off automatically?

This indicates overheating, often due to blocked vents. Turn off the heater, unplug it, and let it cool for about 30 minutes. Remove any obstructions, then plug in and switch on again.

Can I use this heater in a bathroom?

No, the heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, or near swimming pools. It must not be placed where it could fall into water.

How should I clean the heater?

Always unplug and let it cool completely. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth, then dry. Do not use detergents or abrasives, and avoid getting water inside the heater.

What if the power cord is damaged?

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard. Do not use the heater.

What is the warranty period?

The device comes with a 2-year guarantee from the date of sale. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

Is it safe to cover the heater?

No, never cover the heater. It has a 'DO NOT COVER' warning. Covering can cause overheating and fire risk.

Why does the heater emit a smell when first used?

It is normal for the heater to emit some smell and fumes when turned on for the first time or after long storage. This will disappear after a short period of use.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

2. Children shall not play with the appliance.

3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

4. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

5. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

6. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

8. WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

9. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

10. The heating appliance must not be placed just below an electrical outlet.

3. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.

5. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!

6. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the power cord.

7. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and send it to an authorized service center for repair.

8. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.

9. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric shock.

10. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

11. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
12. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
13. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
14. The heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, near swimming pools or similar wet indoor locations. Never place the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or any other water container.
15. Do not use outdoors.
16. Do not cover or obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles or the air intake openings of the heater.
17. Do not place the heater on carpets with a very deep pile.
18. Do not insert any object through the heat outlet or air intake grilles of the heater.
19. Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable fumes may be present.
20. Particular care should be taken when the heater is situated in areas occupied by children or disabled persons.
21. Always unplug the heater when moving it from one location to another.
22. This heating device is not suitable for assembling in vehicles and machines.
23. Do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly attached.
24. Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level surface. Ensure that the heater is not positioned close to curtains or furniture as this could create a fire hazard.

ASSEMBLY OF THE HEATER

Before using the heater, the feet (supplied

separately in the box) must be fitted to the unit.

These are to be attached to the base of the heater using the 4 self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings.

Note: When the heater is turned on for the first time, or when it is turned on after a longer period of storage, it is normal that the heater may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on a short while.

• Set the thermostat to the minimal position and insert the plug to the power supply.
• Turn on the power switch: 750W, 1250W, 2000W.
  • Turn the thermostat knob in a clockwise direction to the max position.
• Once the room temperature has reached the desired value, turn the thermostat knob slowly in anti-clockwise direction until you hear a "click" sound; this is the setting temperature.
• The appliance will automatically maintain the setting temperature. It will switch on when the room temperature is below the setting, and switch off if it is above the setting.

SAFETY SYSTEM

The appliance has a resumable safety system which automatically switches off the unit when overheated, for example, due to the total or partial obstruction of the vents. In this case, switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the socket. Let it cool down for about 30 minutes and remove the object which is obstructing the vents. Then put the plug in the socket and switch on the heater. It should now operate normally.

Irretrievable safety system: When overheat happened, if above resumable safety system is out of order or if resumable safety system switches off the appliance, but the internal temperature continues to rise, irretrievable safety system will work. If this situation happens, the appliance shall be send to repair.

CLEANING THE HEATER

1. Always unplug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and with a dry cloth.
3. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to penetrate the heater.

STORING THE HEATER

When the heater is not used for a long time it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean dry place.
